It's hard for me to leave a negative review for the ISBCC, but I am afraid today's the day.
Please don't get me wrong. I loved the (old) ISBCC. It was my home for the past decade. I've volunteered so much of my time and effort to the ISBCC. Those that know me, know how beloved ISBCC is to me.
But the current ISBCC, and the current management (Board of Directors and Board of Trustees) have destroyed everything that the community has built.
Programs GONE Imams GONE Staff GONE Schools GONE Volunteers GONE Non-Profit Organizations GONE Community Members GONE
If you read the reviews, you'll see that ISBCC was beloved to so many. But that was the past.
The present? The ISBCC is does not serve in the best interest of the community.
The leadership of the ISBCC, The Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees, have not listened to the communities need. They make decisions behind closed doors.
So as much as it hurts me to leave a negative review. Unfortunately, right now. I don't approve of the ISBCC.
Please note. the staff that work there are amazing. Their hard working and do their best to serve the community. Their friendly and actually care about us. But the leadership and the direction the mosque is going in, is downward. They have failed us.
So my advice: go there for prayer. It's still a place of worship. Go for Jummah. Go Pray. Because prayer is important. But at the same time, know that it is not the same ISBCC of the past. To me, it feels like all the blessings that once filled the space are gone, and it shows with an empty structure void of any community.
It breaks my hard to leave this review. I pray that the leadership resigns and is replaced with new leadership that listens to the community so that the ISBCC can strive again.
May God forgive us, guide us, and guide...
Read moreThe Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center Mosque offers a beautiful and serene environment for those seeking a space for prayer or special events such as Nikkah. As described by a recent bride who held her wedding there in October 2022, Alhamdulillah! The mosque is stunning and provides a peaceful atmosphere Masha’Allah.
One of the standout features of the mosque is its affordability, with a reasonable price for renting the upstairs venue for four hours. Despite the reasonable price, the mosque does not compromise on quality, with the stunning beauty of the venue being a highlight of the experience.
The mosque also stands out for its commitment to supporting the community, as evidenced by the imam's offer of pre-marriage counseling and willingness to answer questions at any time. This is a testament to the mosque's dedication to serving the needs of its community members and providing them with the support they need.
Overall, the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center mosque is a welcoming and supportive community that offers a beautiful space for prayer and special events Subhan’Allah. The stunning mosque, peaceful atmosphere, and supportive staff make it a great choice for those seeking a meaningful and...
Read moreWhere do I start? Brothers and sisters I think we can all agree after visiting this location.. Subhanallah! I mean honestly all masjid’s have their own beauty within. It’s all homes of Allah swt. This specific location though is very aesthetically appealing and satisfying! Light shines through just nicely to brighten up the surrounding area as you walk through to the ablution section back up to the main level where salat is performed. The brothers are very friendly and welcoming here as it was overall my first time visiting, I was immediately greeted with many salams and conversations. I Visited today on a dawah trip after visiting Masjid Al-Noor. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll be sure to come back Insha’Allah. Keep up the amazing atmosphere brothers and sisters. Nowadays more then ever we need to fill up these masjids....
