The ladies were very helpful and friendly. I went in looking for clothes hangers. Nothing fancy, just regular old plastic hangers. Imagine my surprise when they rang up $15. For less than a dozen. I commented I hoped they were making at least a union wage, and she said, "well, inflation.". Umm no. The proper term is price gouging. Shame on the owner for obviously not paying a living wage and using covid as an excuse to be absolutely greedy, and line his pockets. Oh, I also bought a small spray bottle for $5. Does not work, but came with a free bug on the inside of it. Bonus. I went down the road and bought a dozen hangers, laundry basket and a candle for $5. I guess "inflation" doesn't go on that side...

That said - the prices are not exorbitant - higher than the box stores - yes... But fair for saving you the drive. The help is always knowledgeable and friendly and if they can't answer a question, will generally find someone who can. The store is surprisingly well stocked for a small-town small hardware store. The location is easy to get to and parking easy to get. Definitely an asset...
