Mountain Good Restaurant — Restaurant in Boulder

The waitress was not very friendly. The curly fries were good bacon cheese burger was good but regular fries were terrible and the Fresno sandwich was soggy. After this review was read by the owner he contacted me asking for more info. He asked if the waitress asked if everything was ok. I told him yes she asked but we didn't say anything. Meaning we weren't going to complain. He obviously didn't read that part or didn't understand what I meant. He asked how to fix this issue. I replied back saying no issue. He seemed upset and so I said he could buy us a milk shake. He then replied back upset that I didn't want to fix this issue that he would buy us a meal. I thought the milkshake fixed the issue. I didn't want to argue with him told him thanks and thought it was over. The next morning he messaged me calling me a lier. Saying the waitress asked if everything was alright and showed a video of it . I never said she did not ask. He told me my review meant nothing to him and I was out to get a free meal. I never asked for anything till he had a problem with it. Then I just said a milkshake. He told me it would be best I never come in again and don't harass him or his help. Then he blocked me. I never contacted him. I wrote the review he replied to me. I never spoke to him in person. I only answered his questions. I don't understand how he would think I would harass him. I was done with this. I wasn't even going to go back for the milkshake or meal. I will not recommend this...

Owner of the restaurant was rude and unpleasant. After seeing a sign that said "Please seat yourself", my partner and I figured it would be okay to grab two menus. Right after we sat down, the owner came out of the kitchen and called us out in front of the other customers by saying "You grabbed your own menus? Do you think you own the place or something?" We thought he was joking at first. However, while all the customers were watching, the owner responded by saying "I'm serious."

We got up and left without ordering anything. The owner made the environment very uncomfortable for everyone. My partner and I clearly didn't take the menus to be rude or to insult the owner. His actions were extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. The whole situation was very odd. I won't be returning to the Mountain Good Restaurant, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Out touring around and found this place. Cozy atmosphere with an old school diner feel. Super friendly staff and attentive.

I decided on the Bison burger with a side salad. Burger was perfect and you build your own with the sides. Salad was a spring mix with fresh cucumber,carrots and onions. Asked for vinaigrette and they had the usual balsamic but also huckleberry and another berry that I can’t remember. So a good selection!

I love some good hot sauce and they had a great selection. Tabasco, Chol/Tap, Reds, but also habanero Tabasco and a ghost pepper. There were a few others and the waitress said they keep a good variety.

My buddy had the special, a pork chop sandwich with curly fries. He said it was very good.

They serve homemade chili, which I didn’t get, but look forward to trying when I come back.

Both our plates were clean when we left. Definitely recommend. Prices were good as well. Full meal and drink...
