If I could give ZERO Stars I would. I walked into the store excited to see what items them had and I was acknowledged by a women on the phone, the other women well...if looks could kill i would be dead. I walked around the store and was never asked if I wanted help (which i did). I walked towards the back of the store where a younger gal was working, I was never greeted nor asked if I wanted help. A woman came in and was speaking with the employees about another quilt shop that had another line of fabric and that they were on sale and how could they sale fabric for that price and did nothing but belittle that other shop. I picked up several bolts of fabric and some other items where my hands were full but no one ever asked if they could help me carry my items. I brought them up to the counter asked if I could set them down was told no one is stopping me. I went and grabbed another item and came right back to the counter. I put the fabric on the cutting counter where I stood for 3 minutes. 1 woman was on the phone with a customer about block of the months, the older woman of the 2 walked around 2 feet from me as if dazed. When she finally looked up she said "do you need something"? I said can I get some fabric cut please? Her reply was very snarky and not nice. I grabbed all my items it took me 2-trips to grab it from the back counter again no one helped me. I paid for my purchases and left. And when I say left I mean I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Worst quilt shop I have ever been to. I am doing a bus tour from out of state and wanted to check out this location as a stop, this will defiantly be a quilt store we will drive on by!.....
When I go and look at the other reviews the owner's response is always I am sorry we will try and do better, and this is old reviews to current reviews and guess what your still not doing any better please stop making false promises as if you care! I have owned a business before I have ran other peoples business and if I was constantly getting these reviews I would make changes in my employees. Or you can continue the way you currently operate and lose potential new customers. Your employees seemed very busy with online/phone orders so maybe close the brick and mortar or get employees that care about...
Read moreCute shop, fairly nice selection. Easy to find with plenty of parking. Sale items are definitely not clearly marked. 2 stars instead of 5 because I was in the store for 20 minutes and not one of the 4 employees said hello or asked if I needed any help or had any questions. I had to ask twice and even then was seriously ignored otherwise. I had a situation where my small purse got caught on a metal basket and I was having a lot of difficulty unhooking it, even to the point that I was on the floor groaning, trying to get it free and wondering why no one offered to help or see what my problematic situation was. I was within sight of at least 2 of the ladies working there. They did however, have a very nice conversation amongst themselves. I seriously hope this is not how they treat all of their customers because I may never come back or refer this...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since I was a little girl in sewing classes. I have only the best things to say about this place. There is a ton of different stuff to get and a very large variety of fabrics. But what sticks out the most is what happened last year. I live in Saratoga springs now and came up to get my truck worked on, it was a 1k+ repair and they had me waiting for 7 hours. I was very tired and upset and made it to the store with 5 minutes before close. I turned around and got back in my car but decided to just ask if they wouldn’t mind staying a little longer. They very surprisingly said yes and stayed open 10-15 minutes longer not rushing me at all. I cried when I got back in my car. I couldn’t...
