Honestly I'm disgusted with the unfortunate timeline of events that this Verizon store has created for me. I first came to this store during the summer of 2023 to fix my cell phone sim card problem. Luis the store manger helped me out and was great. We then started chatting about business accounts as I own 2 small local businesses. Months went on and Luis & I kept in touch regarding switching my wifi services and getting all of my devices switched to a business account. In August Luis had started the set up of my new and improved services with Verizon, that was long and dragged out. Luis then misled me with false promises to secure my business under new promotions, resulting in much larger bills than initially indicated. He assured me of certain services, including setting up a second phone for free, which he never delivered. Despite repeated assurances, the promised setup never occurred. For months I went back and fourth with Luis through text messages about the extremely large bills, the equipment I WAS PAYING FOR but was not set up. Luis then came down to my shop after multiple messages with frustration, yet nothing was fixed or done. Luis convinced me to switch from Comcast business internet, assuring me that Verizon would be both more affordable and provide better performance. Unfortunately, after canceling my Comcast service, I discovered that Verizon does not have Fios on Cape, which negatively impacted my business operations due to insufficient WiFi speeds. After spending $400 to cancel my Comcast business plan early, I had to re-sign up for a new account amid all of the problems Verizon internet caused my business. For nearly two months, Luis continually delayed addressing my concerns, claiming he hadn't applied all promotions and that it was a work in progress. After enduring failed service, mounting bills, and unfulfilled promises, I reached out to Verizon's direct line. Ira, a representative who assisted me, was able to promptly correct some of the problems i was having with my plan during a single phone call—a stark contrast to Luis's prolonged inaction. After doing some research i quickly realized this is not a corporate Verizon store and theres not much help I can get except going through Luis. Read moreAfter calling ahead, we went to the store to purchase a SIM card, add a line to our preexisting Verizon account and activate my daughters first phone. The demeanor, attitude and tone of the employee at the store was inexcusable. We had barely made it through the door, and an hour before closing and were told he wouldn’t have time, questioned me as to why we couldn’t just activate ourselves from her old phone to the new one and told (with an eye roll) that he didn’t have the time to open a new account, which shows poor listening skills and even poorer knowledge of what services we were requesting. He made my 11 year old daughter cry and very nearly ruined what should’ve been an exciting and joyful experience transitioning into having a phone for the very first time. I work in customer service and understand the difficulties that often arise when interacting with people. That being said this absolute horror of a human being should not be in customer service nor dealing with the public. As usual I was ambivalent about needing a new phone and the service I would get at the other Company Verizon Stores. As a business owner it was important to me that the phone supplied the quality business needs, for my use. Ian, explained that the Samsung Notes were a favorite of the employees at the store. He spent well over 2 hours working on the needs of the phone for my business. In addition I purchased the watch as I need to know my low heart rate, often. This purchase was truly a happy and satisfactory purchase for me. I understand my business extremely well - phones and tech products coming from my generation are a mystery to me.
