Ok, I don't usually like to speak ill towards a business but at this point I'm too pissed off not to speak up. Anthony's Florist & Christian Gifts is a complete scam & I highly encourage anyone to REFRAIN from doing business with them. My boyfriend ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered on Valentine's Day- but he forgot to put the apartment number down so they weren't delivered. No big deal. He calls the owner & he informs My boyfriend that he will get me fresh flowers and have them delivered the next day. I receive no flowers. I give it another day... still no flowers. I tried calling a few times and no one answered and you can't leave a voicemail so I messaged the company through their FB page. I let them know I would pick up the flowers on Saturday and to please have them ready to go by noon. He politely messaged me back & said he would deliver them to me by later afternoon. I said ok- still didn't get any flowers. I messaged him back around the time they were supposed to close & let him know that if I didn't get the flowers that day to not even worry about it and to refund my boyfriend. He said "guess it'll be a refund then" which tells me he doesn't care about his customers. He tells me he will no longer speak to me so my boyfriend calls him the next day... and he hangs up on my boyfriend not once, but twice. I reached back out to him & he said my boyfriend will have to dispute it through his bank because he didn't like the way he was spoken to? Anyone who knows my boyfriend knows he is polite and respectful. Yes, he was upset about the situation and expressed his concern to the owner- and then the owner hung up on him. I'm pretty sure this is theft right? That business is known for scamming customers and being a nightmare to deal with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
And in response to the owner- Yes, if only you had the apartment number for the first try which I did not blame the company for. But I do blame the company for the next 2-3x the flowers were supposed to be delivered and still didn't make it to my door step after I provided you the correct address and even offered to come pick them up myself. BOTTOM LINE is the flowers were ordered on Wednesday and were supposed to be delivered on a Thursday and were not. Then Anthony offered to deliver by Saturday and also failed to do that. Absolutely do NOT use this florist, if one would even call him that! I ordered flowers to be delivered to a funeral and the flowers did not show up. The florist (Anthony) did not make any efforts to notify me or the recipient that there was an issue with delivery. He also proceeded to ignore many calls and voicemails from me and recipient to find out what’s going on. I was the purchaser of the flowers and never once was able to speak with Anthony to get a refund or find to out what happened. He did, however, finally speak with the recipient to whom he rudely discounted their concerns with the delivery of the flowers stating “I’d think I’d have greater things to worry about than a flower error at a time like this.” They should not have had to be concerned with this during a time of mourning!!! Read moreI placed an order on a Thursday to be delivered to a church on Saturday for my friend who’s Mother passed away. I told my friend that I sent something to her so be on the lookout. It never showed up. I called the owner and he said, “somebody must have dropped the ball”. Really?! This isn’t something you drop the ball on. He said, I’ll need to get you a refund. I still needed the flowers so I told him that I would need them to be delivered to her home instead on Monday. I had to get her address and I told him I would get back with him. He won’t answer the phone and his voicemail is full. This is completely unprofessional on his part and is embarrassing for me. I usually use Deemers, but it was after 6pm and I noticed this business was open until 8pm. I should have read the reviews because others had the same problems.
Update: I called Deemers to get some flowers since this business “Dropped the ball.” I was told that this Property has been vacated and the Business wasn’t there anymore. The lady I talked to at Deemers was shocked that they were trying to sell flowers still. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS.
