When I got back from deployment, I spent my R&R moving into a new apartment. I was struggling with feeling secure in the new place, so they helped me find ways to increase my sense of security (dowels for windows and sliding doors, sliding hotel locks for the doors, etc). They helped me figure out how to get my washer and dryer installed, helped me with pest control stuff, figuring out creative solutions for every day problems. They’ve helped me figure out which tools will work best for me for specific jobs, and when I couldn’t get a screw out of my key fob to change the battery, they literally pulled out their own tools and struggled with it for me until it was fixed.
