I was in line to check out today. The lady in front of me was trying to get the cashier (Tina) to explain if her coupons were applying. The cashier became very frustrated and was being so rude and obnoxious to the lady. The lady stayed calm and polite for the first few minutes and then finally told the cashier "Don't talk to me like that". The cashier was so pissed that the customer stood up for herself, she started yelling at her to get out the store or she was calling the police. I've never seen anyone snap like that. The lady was very embarrassed and stood there. She asked the cashier again, "can you please just tell me if my coupon applied to the transaction or not". The cashier (Tina) screamed " N O, N O, N O (spelling out the word No) and said " I've already told you 5 times" when in fact she hadn't told her a single time. Every time the customer asked, the cashier became madder and madder. It was very rude, unprofessional, and down right ugly what the employee did to that lady. I was so mad, I put my stuff down and walked out. I won't shop for an establishment that treats people that way. Shame on you Tina for behaving that way and embarrassing that lady like that. You had an obligation to answer her question and assist her. After all, that's what you get paid to do. I hope that lady files a complaint on you with Corporate. You honestly deserve to lose your job for what you did today. I really wish you had called the police. I would have definitely been a witness for the lady. You should have been escorted out the store, not...
Read moreI went to this place today. If you look at the receipt, the time and date will come out. The things I bought are also on the receipt. I went to the cashier and gave him 50 dollars. And I just received the money in the picture. I found out when I got home that I received less change. The distance to the store is 3km. I was thinking about visiting and decided not to. I didn't check my change and put it in my bag. I don't even want to spend my time and feelings for a small amount of less than $20. Early Merry Christmas
Everything I said will be revealed by the...
Read moreToday Dec 1st William did not greet us when we entered the store. But did greet the white couple behind us. At time to pay, he did not say one word to us and did not even tell us what our total was. I had to tell my husband what the total was so that he could proceed to swipe his card. My husband and I felt discriminated after having William assume we did not speak English due to the simple fact that we were Hispanic. We will no longer take our business to this dollar general but rather take it to a business that actually appreciates us...
