If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is the definition of unwelcoming. The atmosphere is downright hostile, and it starts the moment you walk in — even if you arrive a full 30 minutes before closing time. We always make sure to leave before they close, yet the staff and owner act like we’re a burden just for showing up. Glares, bad attitudes, and an all-around nervous, uncomfortable vibe are the norm here.
The breakfast biscuits? Like biting into raw dough — heavy, bland, and barely cooked. Definitely not worth the price.
What’s truly unacceptable, though, is the behavior behind the counter. We’ve overheard staff — and yes, even the owner — calling us nasty, defamatory nicknames and making fun of us when they think we can’t hear. It’s mean-spirited and completely unprofessional.
And don’t bother asking to use the restroom — it’s always “out of order,” no matter when you go. Makes you wonder if they just don’t want customers using it.
What happened to valuing customers and treating people with basic respect? This place is a perfect example of how not to run a business. We will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We are walking on eggshells every time we step foot in . Galloping gallet is the definition of good service and food DO NOT GO TO TALMO...
Read moreTalmo Market Grill is more than just a restaurant; it's a wonderfully charming experience! From the moment we pulled up, the location captivated us—tucked away in a beautiful spot right next to the railroad tracks, which only adds to its unique charm.
The ambience is spot-on, transporting you back in time with its old-time country restaurant feel and perfect decorations. It's warm, inviting, and incredibly cozy.
Now, let's talk about the food! The burgers and beef are truly exceptional. Knowing they use meat from their own family-raised cows makes a world of difference—the quality and flavor are outstanding. This farm-to-table approach shines through in every bite.
What ties it all together is the service. The family ownership makes this place feel special, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming.
If you're looking for incredible food, a charming atmosphere, and a taste of true hospitality, you must visit Talmo Market Grill.

Read moreTalmo Grill is your classic mom-and-pop kind of place—no frills, just the basics. If you're looking for specialty coffee, this isn’t the spot. They serve standard drip coffee with those tiny creamers to go.
Vegan options? Nope. This is down-home cooking through and through. One of our group ordered pancakes, and they were a pretty good size.
The atmosphere is casual with country-style tables and chairs—not exactly made for long sittin’, but it gets the job done. There’s limited seating in the front, but the back has a good number of tables. If you’ve got a larger group, you can push a few together.
Parking is available both out front and in the back. The bathroom is shared. Staff was friendly, and the servers came by often to refill coffee, which we appreciated.
A little quirky note: the cook spent quite a bit of time out back smoking 🚬, and we noticed a staff member bringing in supplies from what appeared to be downstairs out back, so I guess that's where their storage is.
Overall, it's a no-nonsense local spot—good for a casual breakfast if you’re in the area and not looking for...
