McCoy's Building Supply — Local services in Brazoria

Their customer service is worse than home depot. The yard is terrible. You are better off loading it yourself because they take forever. I just left there today and walked in before they closed. I walked to the back and came back up front to get three sheets of plywood and was told "we closed two minutes ago". I asked if I could get the plywood and the cashier said the yard is closed. I walked out at 5:03. This store is horrible. The only reason why people shop there is because they have no competition in Brazoria. I will drive to Lowes...

Lots of helpful items. But the employees not so much. I didn't even get a greeting at the door much less have one single employee offer to assist me with anything. Even though I kept turning in a circle in the middle of the store looking at the aisle labels to try and find what I was looking for. Also there is no pamphlets for the counters or cabinets that can be installed. So I couldn't even take that home to discuss with the fam. Weird. I kinda expect that behavior from lowes and home depot, I guess I expected more...

I don't come in here very often however when I do I am met at the door with a hello welcome to McCoy's. Someone will usually ask if they could be of assistance and, of course not being much of a handyman, I will say yes do you have such and such? Then I will be taken to wherever such and such is located Chit-chatting along the way. Great people and great service. Love it. I feel like my business is really appreciated, like I'm a welcome family member. Como...
