I've been letting this review simmer because I wanted to give the business the benefit of the doubt, until I saw the reviews. And I'm not so sympathetic anymore. I'll admit, my wife and I came in about an hr and 15 min before close, it's our 5th yr wedding anniversary, and all we wanted to do was roll some bowling balls, and have a drink or 2, kill some time, we stood for what seemed like 10min, until a fella showed up behind the cash register, clearly disgruntled that we had showed up to bowl. We didn't even get to shoe sizes! He completely killed the vibe, his demeanor, attitude, was unacceptable. It was a depressing experience, decided to leave, the "fella" drove us out(probably what he wanted), I mean, I "drive" by this place everyday, always wanted to go into it, can you imagine the dissatisfaction? Please help this place get back to the jewel it was! It IS absolutely ridiculous that this happened ppl! Wth has happened to common decency!? We will go to Leesure Lanes for now on, i don't even know why I didn't go there in the first place....
Read moreLiterally one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Was treated so poorly by the guy behind the shoe counter. I simply asked if we could use bumpers because multiple girls in my group hadn’t ever bowled before. He verbatim shook his head and laughed and said “no that’s for little kids”. I later went over and asked him again, as one of the girls in our group had yet to hit a pin, and he again refused. I don’t understand what the big deal was to not put up some bumpers if it was just our own game for fun. We’re paying customers and the customers are always right. This company does not follow that whatsoever. I don’t know if it was because there were girls of color in our group or if there were teens in our group but it seemed like he had some kind of bias and disliking before we had said a word to the worker. Very poor service and I will not...
Read moreBe accommodating to customers. If a ball is too heavy, allow the person to get a smaller weight ball. This was the worst bowling experience. The bigger bowling alleys do it the correct way. They realize most women can't bowl with 10lb or more balls. Unfortunately, bad customer service leads to thrown out shoulders and backs. You have to pay before hand, but then can't even get something you can use without hurting yourself. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt when local friends said stay away but we now know never to go again. It's places like this that give small business a bad reputation. More worried about yourself over a cash paying customer....
