It's unfortunate that I have to leave a review like this. I went into Dairy Queen on my way to from Houston to Austin. I saw that there were two people in line ahead of me and got in line. I could hear frustration from the girl at the cash register as she took the orders in line ahead of me. She had to ask the people several times after taking their order what their order was. She made them blizzards and had no idea how to make them. They looked very sad in appearance when she handed them to the ladies. The ladies raised their eyebrows for sure when they got them. When they finally got their food, the order was missing something. The next people in line decided to leave because they were so disorganized and taking forever behind the counter, they were smarter than me. I stayed a few more mins and finally placed my order. Pretty simple, a steak finger basket with fries and extra ketchup. After 26 minutes of waiting, they asked me twice what my order was. (Mind you the whole time I'm listening to the kitchen raise their voices at each (well the manager scream at the kids making mistakes) in frustration and work on correcting mistake after mistake.) When they finally handed me my food, it was someone else's. The manager then proceeded to huff and puff and go exchange my food and tell the employee "it's a steak finger basket!!!! Very loudly) When she handed it to me I asked for a little more ketchup. She then stated "we charge for extra ketchup.." I told her I had been waiting 30 mins for my "fast food" the least she could do was give me some more ketchup. After that she began to raise her voice at me, come around the counter to get in my face and tell me to never come back. No problem, I never will. The food was hardly cooked, the gravy was lumpy and the entire staff was in need of training and a new...
Read moreDISGUSTING! The staff was unsanitary, weren't wearing gloves or hair nets, I saw a server digging in his hair...GROSS! They kept getting people's orders mixed up, 1 guy waited almost 30 minutes and finally just asked for his money back. My cousin ordered a shake and it took nearly 30 mins after asking about it twice; either they forgot about her order or gave it to someone else. They were trying to bring someone else's order to our table. 2 other large families next to us had issues with their orders as well. Staff seems very incompetent or poorly trained. The cashier was leaning over the register like she didn't want to be there. Staff need to be retrained and coached. The hunger buster I ordered for my Mom was very poor and disappointing...meat was cold, cheese was cold, yuck. The fries I got with my meal were soggy and cold. I pass through Brenham pretty often, but I will not return. THE FOOD IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!! This location needs a...
