I always start my dogs out with daycare to get them comfortable with boarding and this is how we began at Barking Ranch. Now we board sometimes and daycare sometimes. Either way, my girls are always happy and comfortable when they return home. Also, they are happy when we arrive at Barking Ranch because they know there is going to be some group play time either way and this excites them. Dogs will give you feedback about how they feel. My girls give Barking Ranch 5 stars! The staff are wonderful and always helpful. I love that there is a link between Barking Ranch and Brenham Veterinary Hospital (if there is ever an issue, care is close by). We recently boarded our dogs here for 10 days. We called almost every day we were away to check on them and were always met with patience and kindness. One of our dogs had a hard time with anxiety and the staff at BRPR went above and beyond to help her feel comfortable as well as taking her to the vet to make sure she wasn’t sick after typical calming wasn’t working. BRPR has many fenced off yards for doggies of all different social levels so they got lots of playtime as well as naptime. The doggies even got a good bath and we’re nice and shiny when we picked them up. My lab goes to daycare 2-3 times a week and loves it. Yesterday at home I injured my leg and having a difficult time of walking. This morning when I dropped my lab off Kati and Morgan came out to my car and got my dog. Then when I picked him up in the afternoon Kati again helped me get my dog. Of course this is not there regular duties but they went beyond their regular job. I appreciate their help very much. I highly recommend this place...
