Long post alert 📢. Followed this shop for over a year, because her work was beautiful! I was extremely excited to work with her for my wedding. I contacted her a month in advance discussed date, mesg prior to, to confirm. Stated she would be on vacation for date we discussed. So I went earlier then I liked, as I was flying out for my wedding and wanted it to be closer to my leave date. But ok, whatever, I really wanted her to do it. So took earlier date. I did tell her to freestyle, which was my mistake. Pics will show what she did, I was disappointed and confused why my nails looked so basic coming from this person who I have seen do beautiful work. ( my Wedding nails) the work was not what I expected. Since I told her to freestyle, I had to eat that and asked her to please change it , I would pay her. I couldn't leave with the nails guys. I wanted to cry. She was annoyed, but she did change it. Didn't do exactly what I asked, her energy was off at this point. And it was better than before so I just Paid the $230!!!! I did get a gel pedicure. However I thought it was overpriced. But lesson for me w freestyle, right! Here is where problem occurs for this review. THE VERY next DAY the design was coming off!!!!!!!!!! After 230. Next day! So I contacted her professionally to show her via pics, next day. she accused me of doing it !! Honestly the strip was coming off same day. I was gonna deal. But next day more. She was very rude and disrespectful. Cursing in her mesg. . I am going to post our correspondence But u will see she deleted her response. Because it was nasty and disrespectful. Unprofessional The shop also was not the cleanest, her station was a mess. Skip this place , and there lack of regard for customers..they fill entitled to your business!!! Forgetting we the customers pay your bills and KEEP u in business! Humble yourself, before the universe...

Unhappy with the services I received today, I was charged $55 for a simple acrylic on natural short short nails. No tips involved!! And gel color. I first waited with my sister in the cold for about 20 mins because they were running late to open. Then when I went in to the salon I notice their price list which stated full set 28$ and up so I was expecting to pay about $38 since I was getting gel color, I paid because I didn't want to argue. I will never go back and if I could give them zero stars I would they are very dishonest including the owner Emily. I am very dissatisfied. My sister did a filling which should have been 18$ as to what's stated on their price list, she already had a pink and white set which was only filled with the pink acrylic, the young girl didn't even touch on the white part so it looks uneven. My sister asked her to do the white over so it be even and the girl said she felt it looked ok to her even though my sister asked twice. We finally decided to pay and just leave, it wasn't until then that they told us it was $85 when we asked why so much? They said because of the gel! Mind you it was a clear top coat. I've never been charged for a top coat, and to top it off!! No hot towels or lotion and little hand massage after the nails are dry which if I'm paying $55 for nails I'd atleat expect that. I didn't tip because I was overcharged and unhappy with the service. I did pay because whatever I did get the service and it looks okay but not $55 worth, or the $30 that they charge for my sisters filling. I've done the exact same set elsewhere for $30 so $55 is definitely over reaching. Don't go to them save your time and money and go elsewhere I'll stick with Nails by Salina...

Clean nice and friendly welcoming atmosphere with fast and good service, however; I could only give 3 stars. I read reviews prior to going and noticed a review regarding the “no washing of the hands” prior to being polished, which I thought was minor, and a matter of preference so I decided to still go. I was told to wash my hands, and while at the sink, the owner asked my nail tech is I had gotten a manicure in which she replied, “Yes.” She was then scolded for letting them me wash my hands. She did a nervous giggle out of embarrassment and the owner yelled, “No laughing” 😳 That was ONE STAR! I understand she may have been tired of telling her no washing of the hands but as mentioned earlier in my review, I feel it should be a matter of preference and I honestly was going to ask anyway. When I went to sit, I asked why not and informed her that I liked to wash my hands prior. She looked nervous and said “She doesn’t want the hands washed.” I could tell she wasn’t comfortable with continuing that conversation so I left it alone but I honestly was looking to be educated on the “why” in case it’s something I should know. Finally, I zeroed in on a conversation the owner was having with a customer regarding her wanting to fire someone because they were lazy and calls out a lot. Another star deducted. They are also somewhat pricey but considering the area and the work, I wouldn’t mind going back, (maybe just refrain from getting nails and feet done same day) other than that, I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE...
