Dollar General — Local services in Bridgeton

I'm giving Dollar General 3 stars because of the fact that every time we go into the store - no matter the location it seems - when we're ready to check out we almost always have to wait on the cashier to come back up to the register from some mystery corner of the sales floor. I say "mystery corner" because even though we were just all over the store's sales floor ourselves the cashier whom we waited on to check us out was nowhere on that sales floor to be seen. {#HandToGod} Neither were they in the restroom because the doorway to the restrooms is visible (in the store we frequent) from the cash registers & they NEVER come from there. The other reason they're getting 3 stars is because of the shipment carts. No matter the day of the week. No matter the time of day. When we go into our local DG location (into the DG that we use primarily) there is ALWAYS at least 2 carts FULL of items to be added to the stock on the shelves. There's never a time when there are no carts of stock on the floor to be put on shelves. I'm not sure WHY, exactly, with 2 employees on the clock at all times, eight(8) hours or more in their operating day & seven(7) days in their operating week there are perpetual carts of stock, but there are. They're never all empty and off the floor. NEVER. If it were not for those two reasons I'd give my #DG 5 stars and I'd do it because, in spite of everything, three employees in MY DG are courteous, friendly, helpful & they almost all always have a smile and a kind word for us when...

I visited this location yesterday and was early so I walked my dog a little bit around the property and couldn’t help to notice the trash on the grounds all the way around the building that was not there prior to this establishment being built. It’s appalling actually, and should be cleaned up ASAP. This is a health Issue which will become a breeding ground for rodents of all types and pests not to mention the rundown fence line and vegetation. Please clean...

This Dollar General is the BEST one I’ve ever been in… I went to the beach Sunday, and I needed a few things. So I stopped in Bridgeton at this Dollar General. I am so glad I did. This store is ORGANIZED and CLEAN! The Assistant Manager working that morning was AMAZING!! You can tell she loves her job and she loves her customers. You don’t see the above and beyond attitude much these days!...
