I was humiliated in front of other Customers. I visited on Monday Dec 20 before closing time. The Clerk was rude and belligerent. He spoke in a very loud and nasty manner because one of my packages didn't have an address. The other packages did. However, I wasn't sure where to write the address on this particular package because it was not in a brown box. All He had to do was politely tell me where to write the address it was going to and the sender's address. My Boyfriend was with me. He doesn't speak English. So I explained to Him in Spanish what the Clerk said. The Clerk became more rude. He loudly told me that I'm holding up the line and that I need to get back in line. I went to the back of the line and I wrote the address on the package. I don't see why I had to get in line again and why He was very rude and nasty about something that only takes a few seconds to do. It was my turn again to go to the counter, but I let the Person behind me go because the Clerk that was available was the extremely rude Guy. I waited for the other Clerk to take care of me. It was my turn again. I went to the other Clerk. I decided not to ship one of the boxes because it was going to cost $65 to ship it. The box didn't weigh much and it didn't contain expensive items. It wasn't worth the shipping cost. I heard the rude Clerk yell at another Customer because She didn't write all the information on a paper She was sending. I think it was a money order. She is a small Woman that looks about 65 years old. She didn't speak English very well. She only needed help filling out the form. He yelled at Her that She can't expect Them to do it for Her, and that She has to do it Herself before She gets there. The rude Clerk is a tall guy that is obviously stronger than the other Woman and I. It was very cowardly of Him to treat a small old Woman that way. I told my Boyfriend to help that Woman because the rude Clerk was belligerent and I was concerned about the other Woman. Then, the rude Clerk was nasty to me again. He seemed to think that I wanted to steal the box I wasn't going to ship. I am not very Familiar with the process. I didn't know that I still have to pay for the cardboard box even if I don't send the items. I told Him that I'm going to take the contents out. He said, "So you're going to waste our box?". Again, this was something that He only had to explain politely. It only takes a few seconds to explain. I paid for the box. I would've gladly paid for it if He had been polite anyways. I've never stolen and I am certainly not going to risk getting in trouble for a cardboard box. I was humiliated and treated like a Thief. He was also irritated because by the end of my transaction it was close to closing time. I work in retail. I know We are tired by the end of our shifts, however it isn't an excuse to be awful to our Customers. It also doesn't take much, nor is it an inconvenience to help a Customer or explain something to Them. Decent Customer service and politeness go a long way. I let it ring for like ten min then someone picks up n slams the phone back on the hook. This has happened several times. I only call if it's extremely important/emergency. I hate talking on the phone so I sure wouldn't be calling just to chat. I have an emergency and they are gonna send my package back!!!! How can I tell them if they don't answer the phone???? Cause I absolutely cannot get there. It is an emergency cause I can't physically get there! What if a person had an emergency and couldn't go to the post office because he or she had co-vid!!! Also, I was reading the complaints. There were so many complaints about the old man that looks like Santa. But the last time I went he was still there and still just as lazy and mean as before. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI moved in with my mom in December. Everything was going fine with the mail in the beginning. Mac is a great mailman. Since about May , now our mail has been coming in sparingly. We have a new mail lady. She always drives by our house , doesnāt drop off mail, she never gets out of the car and was delivering some mail to the house next door.. this ongoing frustration led my mom to have words with the mail lady. And now we donāt have any mail.. lol Keep in mind we have lived at this address for over 30 years with not a single problem. We have attempted to move the mailbox 3 times in hopes that our mail would get delivered. Multiple times we have gone into the actual post office to retrieve the undelivered mail. The workers say that donāt have any mail for our address. My daughter and i have Medicaid. They sent renewals but we never got renewals. Had to spend 500 on temporary medical for her and didnāt even receive those papers in the mail. We had a death in the family and records that were being sent over that we have not received. Car registration renewal , etc , you name it we donāt got it. No circulars. NOTHING. Where is our mail? No one has a clue . No one is helping us no matter what we do. Itās coming to the point that we are inquiring with a lawyer to see what can be done . This has cause such a strife on...
