My experience with VILDesigns exceeded my expectations by far! So, I’d like to start off by saying if something sounds too good to be true… It might actually be true! The very first phone call I had with Bryan went so well I legitimately thought I was being scammed! Everything sounded too perfect! He spoke so well and everything he said was what I wanted to hear especially because of the recent experiences I’ve had with other decorators and the amount of money they were quoting me to decorate/design my home. Anyway, Bryan went on to say they require a small deposit upfront. Other interior decorators did not require this however, I felt so comfortable with Bryan I thought hey, why not? If I am being scammed, it’s not that much money and if I’m not, this is perfect! I submitted the deposit and waited. Bryan came through with everything he said. The exact process that he explained to me over the phone was exactly what happened. He sent a rep to my house that weekend to take pictures and measure the three rooms I wanted help with. Then he connected me to Angie, the top designer at their firm (she’s the best)! We had a phone conversation, she listened to everything that I envisioned for these rooms in my home, she responded to my emails quickly, made me feel like I was her only client! And in just over a week she emailed me the beautiful 3D renderings of all three rooms and I was blown away! My house looked like something out of a catalog, it was gorgeous! How she got in my head to literally design something that was so beautiful and exactly how I wanted it, I will never know! She’s a genius! OMG these images of my home were better than I even imagined! After this, you will have another phone conversation with her where she makes any sort of minor changes you would like. What’s even better is she emails you a sourcing list with links to where you can buy every single item, every piece of furniture right down to the pieces of decor that you see in your 3D images. You just click on it and it takes you directly to where you can buy everything! I LOVE that I had the option to buy the items where she found them or I could find it somewhere else! So if you are looking for a professional to help guide you in decorating/designing your home without charging you thousands of dollars and who actually listens to you and makes only the best recommendations for you, call VILDesigns and ask for Bryan and Angie! I can't say enough good things about our experience working with VILDesigns and heartily recommend them. As empty nesters my husband and I recently downsized from a house to an apartment. The furniture we've had for 30 years didn't work in the new space plus we were ready for a change. We had some general ideas, and had seen many cookie cutter "models.," but were kind of stuck on how to execute what we had in mind. We needed help and fortunately found VIL. The staff at VIL and Bryan saved us. At the start they confirmed the size and configuration of the space. We then discussed my husband's and my vision for style, color, placement etc. and some specific needs. I felt really heard and that Bryan "got it." We did not feel pigeonholed or pushed into a set script. He made excellent suggestions and presented us with many good options. Bryan also spent valuable time investigating resources for us. In addition, he was so patient with our trouble making decisions. Given the high level of service VIL's flat rate pricing is more than fair. I never felt pressured like you often do with a designer. We also appreciated the respect paid to our budget and priorities. I was recently at a crossroads in my life. I found myself going through a divorce, selling our family home and taking care of my elderly mother. Things seemed to not be looking very bright for me.
