Would have given a 0 Star if I could by far the worst salon I have ever went to. The owner is very unprofessional and does not train her staff in customer service. Everyone there was mean. I signed a contract 3 months before by wedding and was told they would have as many girls that I needed to get my wedding party out of the salon in the time I needed. Then two weeks before my wedding they called me and said they only had one make up artist and one hairstylist for nine girls during a holiday weekend because they were all going on vacation. When I questioned what they promised I was told if you don’t like it you can go somewhere else. I began to cry because it was my wedding and two weeks before on a holiday weekend. Thinking I would never be able to find someone. The owner wouldn’t even get on the phone they claimed they lost my contract and she had the girls do her dirty work. They finally said they would accommodate me and the owner would come in to help with my wedding. One week before my wedding I was told I had to pay for nine girls in full prior to the wedding date and if I didn’t like it I can go somewhere else. And they said I was given the wrong contract and if I don’t sign the new contract they wouldn’t come it for my wedding party. I said my contract said all I had to do was give a $200 deposit plus $100 to open the salon which I did. Why would they change this on me a week before my wedding. I never heard of paying for services at the the hair salon in full before services are rendered and just for asking a question I was told I was impossible and they stated they did everything they could to accommodate me and we’re sorry we can’t help you. They did nothing to accommodate me but make me cry and stress me out. Within one day I found a wonderful place in point pleasant beach called Salon Elysian and they opened the salon for me didn’t charge me and extra $100 just to open it like la Palais did. They Accommodated 11 people instead of 9. They were so nice treated everyone with respect and kindness. Did a beautiful job and made my day as the bride wonderful. Don’t go to la Palais if you want to be happy on your...
Read moreI think people should know that It says 95+ for updos … i went there with high hopes… really to help me place my clip-in extensions . I asked for Hollywood waves and my stylist was very nice but the outcome was “ok” there were things i would have changed like more curls more volume, just a better job… but thinking i was going to spend $100, leave $20 too, i was just trying to get out of there….
When i went to pay and they said $227, my mouth dropped. That’s $300 with tip….. i would have gotten “crazy” about details and maybe had my nails done with It too for that price… Unacceptable. My bridal Trial with Senada, the best hairstylist in the city, charged me $300 for the bridal trial , which I could’ve definitely gone to this wedding with (being that It was beautiful) . The fact that I was charged that amount for a very basic or school learning experience kob at a salon is unacceptable. I think that they should talk about their prices before they charge. I was embarrassed to tell people how much I spent on my hair, as it fell before I even entered my event. I also spoke about getting my color Done there, but there’s no way would ever ever do that because I don’t know what I might be Charged. I really wanted to like this place, but unacceptable price. I was so blown away , and I left without asking why. I thought I would find it on my receipt but it’s just a standard charge for updos , when I didn’t have an “up -do” -basically curls with my own extensions (bc Hollywood waves were straight by the time i got home). I think that they need to speak to customers about how much they’re actually gonna charge them before they...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Le Palais Hair, and although I'm a bit late in sharing my experience, I felt compelled to express how wonderful it was. From the moment I stepped into the salon, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, making me feel truly valued as a customer.
One of the standout features was the thoughtful touch of having my name displayed on a small plaque at my hair station. It was a simple gesture, yet it added a personal element that made me feel special. My stylist, Ally, was absolutely amazing. She took the time to ask insightful questions to understand my hair and my preferences, which I greatly appreciated.
Throughout the appointment, Ally checked in frequently to ensure we were aligned on the style and process, which made me feel comfortable and involved. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my satisfaction and was dedicated to achieving the best results.
Overall, my experience at Le Palais Hair was exceptional, and I left feeling rejuvenated and happy with my hair. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last. Thank you, Ally, and the entire team for such a lovely experience! I can't...
