United States Postal Service — Local services in Bristol

If you live in Bristol or Trevor go to USPS online and sign up for INFORMED DELIVERY. It is FREE. It will send you an email each day with a picture of the mail you are supposed to receive that day. The Bristol office is NOTORIOUS for ONLY delivering accountable mail (mail with scan bars) and letting regular mail pile up for 2 or 3 days in an effort to hit their delivery times. Unfortunately that means you don't get your mail everyday. Using Informed Delivery you can report every time you don't get your mail - KNOWING WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED based on what is scanned to be sent to the office each day. Samantha needs to be fired! She came to measure my mail box with an Umbrella to see if it's correct height! Because the carrier after 8 years of delivery wont deliver my mail! This is a small post office so it does not perform its own sorting. For that, all mail is transported to another facility for sorting and then dispersed from there. This can make for long delays in sending and receiving letters and packages. I have had negative personal experiences with my carrier, one of which almost resulted in me being ran over.
