California Closets - Cleveland — Local services in Brooklyn Heights

I could not be happier with my new closet! Even my girlfriends are obsessed with seeing the new closet in person. I am sure I will be providing many referrals. It is so refreshing to find a company who still values customer service and California Closets is one of them.

I have an 80 year old house. Surprisingly it has many closets, but they are not large closets. I have been using the primary as a linen closet and I had bought some cheap drawers to stack in there. It was really hard to access. The lighting in there was also not great, but a closet redo was not in my budget when I moved in, so I made due. However, 8 years later, I was ready.

I contacted California Closets and within the hour Robyn had contacted me to schedule my estimate with Tammy. Tammy and I hit it off and she was very patient with me and tweaked the design several times until it was perfect. She had great suggestions and has a great eye for this.

Jeannine was my project coordinator and kept me updated with emails along the way as to the progress of the build. My installer Dino was a PLEASURE. Super smart and very good at what he does. Old walls means challenges, but he nailed the install and it is stunning.

Post install Tammy even called to check in to ensure I was happy with everything. I wanted to add another matching hook and she will be stopping by to measure and order to be added later.

We have had two projects done by California Closets. The first one we did was a Murphy bed in one of our guest rooms. It has worked out well as it is a desk during the day and a bed for guests at night. Our second project was to put cabinets and shelves on either side of our TV/fireplace wall. We loved them but recently had an incident where two of the shelves collapsed. We called California Closets and within an hour had responses from three different people assuring us that they would make things right. We are in the middle of that project right now and I hope that my words about making things right do come true. Several very precious items were broken during that collapse and our flooring was damaged but again.....they said they would make things right. I'll be back to respond if that doesn't happen. We remodeled our home and needed help designing our bedroom closets. Our home was built in 1900, a time when closet space was not a major design concern. Rachel came to our home, took measurements, asked lots of questions regarding our needs and wants and then put together a couple of design models on the computer. We loved working with Rachel and would highly recommend her. She’s very knowledgeable on the product and talented in her design skills - our closet spaces were challenging but Rachel made it work beautifully.The installation guys were very courteous, cleaned up afterwards, and were able to make necessary adjustments to the install when faced with a minor issue.
