I had a great time watching Tony Rocker! Decent music venue, generally friendly but just needs a few tweaks to be even better. The main issue holding it back is the layout for watching music. They have the capacity for a lot of people but once there was only standing room, there was not enough space to view the band if standing. So when standing, you feel like you are in the way of seated people or the bar. I can think of some ways to improve it. 1) Seems like the large round tables near the stage were oversized for the number of people seated. So 1/2 of the venue was filled with only 1/3 of the people or less. Maybe get smaller tables to allow more chairs or even have some standing space behind these tables which could also be a route to the men's room. 2) The tables near the bar were staggered so took up most of the walking space leaving not much room for a standing view or waiting for drinks. It was a constant dance back and forth to not be blocking someone's view, blocking a server or other customers moving through. Maybe would be better to line them all up along the entire wall opposite of the bar to make more pathway and standing view of the show. 3) I know this one would cost money but if the space could be opened so the wall dividing the two rooms was gone or at least had an opening to provide additional view to the rest of the bar.

Visited Main Street Music & More for the first time last night. Our friend’s band was playing there and we thought we’d check it out since it’s so close to home. We are so glad we did! Such a pleasant surprise to find this gem of a place. It has a Nashville vibe and we just loved everything about it. Great acoustics in this cool old building too. The bar service was top notch. One of the owners (Rick) was even running around checking on people and clearing away glasses, etc…to make sure everything was taken care of for his guests. All of our friends commented on what a fun place it is too and how the service was so good. We can’t wait to visit again and listen to more great live music.

I like the venue for watching bands, the layout is decent for that. Unfortunately there is not enough seating to accommodate a good crowd, and if you want to grab food off their limited menu you want to get there at minimum an hour before showtime or more or plan to stand the entire time. The staff are amazing and do there best to accommodate. Buying tickets in advance does not guarantee you a...
