Anchor Club II — Restaurant in Brooklyn

This is a great little hometown bar located just off the main road, that started displaying a FOOD banner so I thought I’d give it a try, ever knew they served food. The burgers are great, I’d recommend the beer batter fries, they are awesome. They have a pretty big menu for such a small bar, lots of choices for appetizers, I tried the mushrooms and they are great! Can’t wait to try more. Also tried take out fish on Friday, I was impressed with how the meal was packaged, not just everything thrown together but carefully placed and wrapped individually to avoid cross over of juices etc. I will definately be going back again very soon. I cannot give a fair review. We stopped in to participate in the rockcountycocktails.com scavenger hunt, but the bar was closing in 45 minutes. We were the only ones there. When they realized we were there (they were cleaning in the kitchen), servicecwas fine, but the bartender went back in the kitchen. It is not the staff's fault that we stopped in right before closing.

Stopped by here with my wife and this place is awesome! They had a deal going on their smoked wings which were fantastic and a great value. Super friendly people running this place. Met one of the owners here and she was so awesome. She showed us their newly renovated space above the bar and it was so cool.
