Victoria Nails Salon — Local services in Brookside

I used to go to this salon prior to me relocating. I had the worst experience ever on Saturday eve. I entered salon 3:15ish and exited around 6:30z for a pedicure. I asked the nail tech to take out my ingrowns as I get my feet done regualary. He hurt me badly where I was bleeding and I thought it was from removing the ingrown properly. He then painted my nails and it looked terrible, I asked him to get it off my ski as gel peels off. He then used sharp tool to pick it off and cut me open some more and didn't even apologize. The daughter came over to fix. She put liquid bandage on the cuts. That felt great! (Enter sarcasm) I then had to wait for her to get the dead skin off my nails as he didn't do thAt. Thank goodness she noticed. Then the mother owner of the salon painted them correctly. I had some pain on my big toe but I thought it was from when he was digging the ingrown and stabbed me that it was just sore. Well today I notice pain and now it's swollen skin and puss. Now that is from not removing the ingrown properly and leaving jagged ends in there. Now I have to go to a podiatrist, and endure more pain. Also I have to pay out of pocket. I called the salon, the husband told me the ingrown removal never happened and there's nothing he can do. That I could come in (but I advised him I loved three states away) he said he's in the business to make money and can't just refund every complaint. Now, after my experience I didn't even ask for a refund but now we are stepping into bounds of a lot more money out of pocket, inconvenience and time spent at the doctor. Before I leave on my trip. I advised him that 27.00 was worth compensating me and my troubles and he said the reviews didn't matter to him.

So beware when you go in for a pedicure with the man. Also, the way the management handled this situation shows me I'm a NUMBER AND NOT A PERSON! Never again...

I have been to this place many times although it has been awhile since my last visit and this place use to be great. I literally just walked out with my boyfriend and we won’t be back I will also ask other NOT to come to come here! The nail tech rushed thru both our pedi I literally sat in my seat and rubbed dead skin off because they did not and there was not any nail shaping and poor polish job. If you have to ask me if thhe French tip looks messy guess what you already know it’s to wide and looks crazy! Did not push cuticles back or get the basics of an actual pedi. I could have soaked my feet at home because that’s basically all that was done here and even that was short lived . And others have experienced this same thing unfortunately I didn’t think to look at recent reviews until after we started to feel the service was severely lacking. Barely even scrub with the purple brush what a shame didn’t even get the dead skin near the nail on the baby toe. If you don’t want to actually provide a service then please dont offer the service. My poor boyfriend had to wait to get a 3 min rub with lotion and tons of over pounding on the leg after they did my pedi meanwhile they started him first and the same person did us both. We work hard and sometimes it’s hard to treat yourself this was a $75 let down!...

Me and my mother went to this salon for the first time today and the whole experience was down right disturbing. As soon as we walked in the whole place ranked like smoke. We get to the pedicure and the only good part of the procedure was the gel the put in to make your feet soft. The manicurests went through the procedure as normal until I need the man MOANING as rubbing my mother's legs!!!!! Not only is that uncouth but disturbing! My lady was phonomal. Anyway, I was waiting to get my manicure and a like 12 YEAR OLD girl is like "this is the color you want right?" So I was like "no I wanted the tourquise one by my chair" thinking that she lis like the daughter of the person doing my pedi. BUT BOYBWAS I WRONG!! SHE STARTED DOING MY NAILS!!! I'M SURE THAT SHE WASN'T A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL!! As she was trimming my cuticules she cut a chunk of my skin out.. I'm not over reacting or anything. I GOT home and there was a judge part of my under nail bed missing!!! I was also conversing with my mother at the time and what made her visit ever WORSE the man didn't even paint the tops of her nails. SO NOT ONLY WAS HE A CREEP BUT HE DIDN'T EVEN DO NAILS RIGHT!! so ya. One star, had a horrible time, will NEVER come back. If I had to go to one place I would go to spalon on...
