Metamora Gem Mine And Luna's Garden Gift Shop — Local services in Brookville

I love this place. We live 2 1/2 hours away, but was in this part of Indiana and my husband surprised me with a stop here, as I do love my crystals. The town it's in (Indiana's canal town) is very quaint with a feel good, ole' timey feel. We got a couple (OK, maybe 4 buckets) to gem mine/pan with. I always love the surprises. The buckets and bags had an assortment of everything from crystals to fossils, including fluorescent specimens. The prices were very reasonable, something, I believe most people could afford without breaking the bank. The shop where you get the bags/ buckets was loaded with everything from crystals (of course) to jewelry, incense and burners, sound therapy (singing bowls and the like), windchimes, salt lamps and crystal lamps, even unique wine bottle and salt and pepper shaker holders. The owners (I'm assuming, they're the owners) were knowledgeable, upbeat, and kind. I plan on visiting whenever I can, but they do have a live Facebook show every Monday night where prices are reduced with a large variety of their merchandise. Sooo, if I can't make it up to Indiana, I can shop at home. Even buy a bag or bucket of gems and sluice at home. They even have a short how-to video....

Place is amazing for being a little town, we got huge rocks from the mine. They even let us come in on a closed day. We bought the $350 bucket and it was well worth its price. The bucket lasted about 1 hour for 5 people so it's well worth the time. It only took 10 minutes for them to set up our bucket so we really appreciate not having to wait forever. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I would overall recommend coming here with a family They have step stools for little kids. They loved the experience and we can't wait to visit here again it was definitely worth the hour drive and there prices were crazy cheap for the big rocks they have a crystal that was about 3 feet tall was only $1150 and in Ohio that crystal would have been at least $8k so I really appreciate the experience...

I ordered a bag of the “Kundalini Mix”, which arrived today. I have ordered from different gem mines in the past because I enjoy collecting gemstones, but I am blown away with Metamora! In my bag, I found several gemstones I had not yet been able to collect like Tigers Eye, Labradorite, and Peacock Ore. They are not tiny pebble sized like I’ve experienced from other places either, you get nice sized specimens. Not to mention the extra gifts that come along with it that definitely make it worth the purchase! My birthday is in may and I am planning on ordering again with the birthday bag. I can’t wait.
