Stop by to try some cracklin's. I got half a pound. In the butcher area. The people are friendly. Travis is out front selling crosses. The Way.. is where he use to work with people. update 4/2/22 These cracklins have a little bit of a Cajun flavor. When I first got the bag I thought.. Wow Thats half a pound. It looks like a lot. The bag felt very light.. airy. Some of the cracklins are like pork rinds.. crunchy and light and some of it is meaty. ha ha ha Its different from the other cracklins that I have tried. I think the price is 22.99 a pound. Its just a snack. Well, I use the leftovers to flavor homemade soups and other dishes. Its ALL GOOD! p.s. I had a good time talking to Travis. Since he was wearing THE WAY shirt I was hoping to find him as someone that has a deep understanding or wisdom that I know. Umm.. A GAME PLAYER. He knows what he's been taught and willing to fight to get others to believe the same. I asked him if they make stuff they sell.. He said its from San Antonio TX.. OMG.. I could have brought you a fresh supply hahaha I guess they are just trying to make an honest living with a good message. The store customers enjoyed looking, buying and talking with both guys....

I was looking for a great steak . I was visiting a friend in New Iberia la. I found Billeaud Grocery on the internet. The Staff are amazing people. The meat market Guys were super nice they greeted me immediately and asked me how they could help. I looked around a couple minutes and asked if they would cut me some steaks .i told them i want 2 tbone steaks 2 inches thick . They cut me the most beautiful steaks i have ever eaten. They said that is one fine piece of meat you got dar. I told them i was visiting a childhood friend that i had not seen in many years and told them that i was going to cook him a steak that he would never forget . While I'm waiting on my steak I'm looking at boudin I'm in La hey the best place in the world for food. I see crawfish boudin, let me tell you it was truly amazing . It was absolutely the best boudin i have ever eaten. I live 9 hours away guess where im heading back tomorrow .Billeaud's with an ice chest this trip. I highly reccomend this fine establishment. I go a few times a week. There boudin, hot dogs and plate lunches are always good. Red beans, rice and sausage for $5. Years ago I saw a travel documentary that stopped there to try the boudin. This place is a legend.

Update... Most of the cashier's are very sweet, but they have one or two that are super rude and argumentative. I guess it's gotten so hard to find good employees, the boss is just happy to have someone willing to work. Oh well, Ill keep going every day and keep smiling. P.S.
