George's Used Cars — Local services in Brownstown Charter Township

Anyone who gives this rathole scam of a business more than one star is SERIOUSLY delusional! Horrible service, rude people, and straight scam artists. The "showroom" is deplorable along with the attitude and appearance of the staff. Looked like they all had a wonderful liquid lunch at the local bar and forgot that bathing is preferred along with teeth brushing. Oh and the back room where they hustle you is covered in questionable liquid with a filthy open door bathroom that looks it hadn't been clean in weeks. You can barely even park to get into the place...DON'T waste your time!

A word of advice to George’s Used Cars…if you want to play the part for a good con…get your house in order and at least hire people that look like they bathe and STOP lying to people to swindle them out of hard earned money. Most people go to car lots like yours because they are intimidated by big dealerships. However, if you are looking for a previously loved vehicle, CarMax, CarRite, or Carvana is your best bet. They are no haggle and are 100% transparent. They tell you this is what it is and work with you honestly and do not have to rely on scratch off ticket flyers to lie to you to bring you in. You do not want to go to any George's that's all we're going to say you don't need the hassle and the brain headache it comes with. Now I am adding to this review there has been multiple things go wrong with this car since the first day we got it and now something else went wrong and the place that we were told to take it to charged us for a mapping sensor saying that the insurance that we had on it the 24,000 miles or two years that they didn't cover that there so do you really want to go to this place and get a car I am posting on every social media that I can now they are scam artist you do not want to go to this place. Update I have talked to multiple people that have bought cars from there they are not happy and when they get five star post they pay for those they are nothing but liars and scammers to get you to buy their cars they are a worthless bunch of people couldn't even stick to their word to have our car fixed first day we bought it didn't even get it home and the engine went out then they sent it to speedee down the road they were lying to us and said it was the timing belt and then wouldn't give us the paperwork on the work that they did they said we didn't own the car but we already signed papers for it that place is a scam too would not recommend anyone to go to...

Everything that the other people are saying about the bad experience is true. They seen me and my 19 year old son coming and the warranty they offer is bs too they send you to there Mechanics and those Mechanics tell you nothing is wrong and send u on your way my son has had this car for 2 years and owes over 8000 on this car and of course the car messes up he takes it in and the warranty has Expired,so we take it to someone else and it's gonna cost almost 4000 dollars to fix everything that needs to be done and this just didn't happen over night so I know those other Mechanics knew what was going on with this car and just sent him on his way so the Warranty didn't have to pay for it. I have talked to people, and they said it is very common for this place to do this to a lot of people. With that warranty, it's a scam. And you guys should be ashamed of yourself to do this to a 19 year old kid who's just starting his life now he is paying for a car that should be in the junk yard. I would not recommend buying any car from the place. Then u call your salesperson, and he said he is tired of people complaining.
