Had a decidedly unchill first time experience here today with the piercer.
So I needed some assistance with swapping out the captive beads in my double helix for my upcoming wedding this Friday as they were being especially stubborn going in. This is actually a service Liquid Chaos offers for just $10 which is really cool, and the dude who explained all this to me over the phone was so nice and patient in doing so. Hence why I'm at least throwing 2 stars here instead of a flat 0
But woo, that's about as far as the positivity goes. So I get there and wait my turn to meet the girl who handles piercings there. Already forgot her name because I don't care to remember her after today lol. She gets me back and I explain my situation, need this new jewelry for my wedding yadda yadda please help and at first she's like "Okay, cool let's do this."
I had lost one of my hoops and not realized it. That's all on me, but I still at least wanted to get the one in. But instead of helping with just the one... She instead starts telling me how messed up my helix piercings are and that the distance between them was all off and that I was better off just taking them out and letting them heal and doing them all over again.
Okay. So. I appreciate the honesty and maybe she's right, I don't know enough about ear piercings to debate, but I have never had an issue with the original hardware in the year and a half I've had them so never noticed or cared myself.
But also???? Kinda besides the point in that moment. I tried explaining once again that "Hey, I really want at least one of these hoops for my wedding. Are you sure?"
And instead of just saying "Yeah okay I'll help you today but please keep this is mind to do AFTER your wedding," she instead flat out refuses to help out. Won't do it.
She has that right, I guess. But keep in mind- my piercings weren't fresh, openly infected, ANYTHING like that. To her they simply weren't good enough to be worth swapping out. That's all. And that should've been my call to make in the end.
Anyway! I once again thanked her for her honesty and dipped out. I ended up finding my missing hoop and will hopefully find a more helpful shop within the next 2 days.
Thanks...

I understand that it being expired is 100% my responsibility but life happens, and time gets past you sometimes, happens to everyone. Anyways, called up there the first time and the (male)person who answered, who apparently works the front desk talks to me about the issues and says it shouldnāt be a problem, Iāll just have to run it by the owner, and says he wonāt be in that day, and to try again at a later time. So I do, and this I got somebody else(male). To be honest, his answers were kind of rude and just kept repeating that he didnāt know and that āexpired means expiredā, which I understand. I asked to speak to the owner, to which also stated that he is not in and that he will be in on Monday and that he would take my name and number and have the owner call me on Monday. Cool, then Monday rolls around, no call. Call back up there, same guy from the first time answers and says the owner wonāt be in for about another hour, let me take your information again just in case and Iāll have him call you.. itās now Wednesday. Yeah, you could say Iām complaining due to my own problems, but all I wanted was a real explanation, from the person who apparently is the only one who can provide it, and I couldnāt even get a simple phone call back. Super unprofessional in my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is absolutely amazing, the service is incredible and on top of that the piercer is amazing as well. I got my nose pierced a while ago and it was doing well until it swelled like a week into it being new and so it started to get embedded. The piercer Kayla she immediately took a look and changed it to a longer post and didnāt even charge me. The place was sterile and she was very experienced. Anyway a while later I got sick and developed a piercing bump and this was my 4 month mark, I thought maybe changing the stud to gold would help, and she said no I recommend that you donāt and wait it out and let it heal. Iām glad i listened and two months later it healed fine and now I went in to get my piercing changed and my stud that I bought broke and it was super expensive too but the stud was 22k so it was very brittle she was an absolute expert and she helped me out and gave me a diamond stud. Iām very pleased with them and absolutely love this place I was also recommended here by a friend and I donāt regret it one moment. She is a very experienced and professional piercer and I recommend this place to...
