Worst experience ever. I have been to three different college institutions and this by far takes the cake of being the absolute worst. I applied to this college months in advance of the due date and have submitted all of my transcripts/documents multiple times and still the are asking me to prove my identity. I have proved myself more than once with documents that satisfy even the social security office. Yet here I am two days from the deadline and they still refuse to accept my information. Every time I call I get a different person with different information. I get daily emails back to back stating that my required information has satisfied the requirements and then another one stating that I have uncompleted requirements. This place has never been on the same page with itself. I applied here to save some money but I seem to be spending more requesting documents on repeat. They have claimed over and over again that they have not received them despite me having a confirmation email stating that they have downloaded my documents and someone confirming today they I've sent them 4 times and that they just haven't scanned them in (I sent them starting 4 months ago). Read moreI have enjoyed my time at Blinn! The small classes sizes and ability to get from class to class has been great. The Writing Center and Tudors are amazing and very helpful, so take advantage of those resources!
I do feel like there was not enough 16-week classes to choose from but tons of 8-week classes. I need the full 16!
Do not take a TBA class period! I thought, how bad can it be.... Terrible! If there was a way to get money back I would.
All other professors I took classes from over these past two years I scouted out on an outside resource and they were more than great!!! I hope to see some at the University I'm heading to next year!
Advice: Learn to read your own degree plan and cross reference it with the University you want to attend/are attending to make sure classes transfer and...
Read moreGreat Teachers and great Programs. I'm immigrant, came to US in 1990's. I went through Blinn College (Bryan Campus) with all my English classes (credits and non-credits) and then applied for other classes that typically required for freshman and sophomore. I then transferred to Texas A&M - College Station for Computer Engineering major. I was admitted to the Texas A&M on my first apply because I had good grades during years at Blinn College. I succeeded in my education at Blinn College because this college offered good program that greatly helped me succeed in my academic at A&M. Also Teachers and academic Advisors at Blinn were nice, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Thank you so much Blinn College - your helped me succeed in my...
