Atmosphere: From the outside of the building, it gave off like a Rainey St, Austin or The 101 in Bryan vibe. Really thought the idea of outside seating/patio was a nice touch, especially with yard games and space for people to play and just hang out. Would be nice if there could be some form of entertainment to give it a really welcoming atmosphere. Once you enter all the decor goes with the establishment, from the music, style, mural and TV's. While we were there, there were multiple NCAA football games going on up until the Aggie game which then in turned got the attention of the customers. Being that it was Halloween weekend, it was nice to see that all the employees took part in being dressed up and serving the customers. For it being a decent sized interior, there seemed to be ample space and not too loud. I was able to listen to the music, talk, and watch the football game with no issue. Service: Upon arriving we were greeted by a waiter and told we could sit where we would like. Soon after seating we were asked about what we wanted any drinks. Once we looked at the menu, we told him it was our first time and recommended 4 options (bowl/philly sandwich/brisket queso/BBQ plate). We went with the bowl and was served fairly quickly after ordering it. During our meal multiple waiters refilled our drinks as well as asked if we needed anything else. Service was really well even with multiple customers in the establishment. Quality: Since I went with the Big Dawg Bowl, I was able to try one of the meat selections and opted for the mashed potatoes (can also get Mac n' cheese). The brisket was a great combination with the bowl, but I could definitely see the jalapeno cheddar hot links being a favorite of mine in the future with the bowls. The bowl itself packed a lot of flavor as it did portion wise. Other items sounded really well and could see myself coming back to try it out (Brisket Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and St.Louis Rib Plate) I would highly recommend getting the bowl seeing it is one of, if not, the most popular item on the menu.

Can I give 10 stars? This place feels and smells like home. Our first time visiting "The Station." My family and I drove from Houston to celebrate Mother's Day. Our kids wanted IHOP so we said yes. Huge mistake! Please, check my review on IHOP from the same day in College Station. Food, service, and atmosphere were horrible at IHOP. So we gave it another chance. We stopped by this restaurant and have no regrets. Food: it simply tastes delicious, it's served fresh and hot. Takes less than 10 minutes to serve. Size and appearance make you hungrier. Atmosphere: when you see families with kids, friends or grandma and grandpa enjoying the same food like you, that tells you are in the right place. Good music, decorations are beautiful, and cleanliness is pristine. Service: I forgot our waitress name. She said she's been working for less than a month. She was amazingly fast and attentive to our order. A permanent smile when you are served makes you feel great. We met Mateo, one of the owners. Mateo was walking around greeting customers and giving hugs, like old friends. This guy, his restaurant and the waitresses made our day, after the horrible experience at IHOP. We promised to spread the word in Houston and come back to this restaurant soon. One of the best BBQ restaurants we have visited in the Houston area. PD: on our way out, Mateo gave us a free order of ribs that tasted delicious and ate while writing this review.

I went here today for the first time. I ordered a pound of sliced marble brisket. Instead I got a pound of chunks of meat. I asked if they could actually slice it like normal people they said no this is the way it comes. I'm not sure what that means do they not make their own barbecue. Unfortunately I had already paid for the crap that they gave me. The brisket was a combination of 10% marble 90% lean which was mostly inedible. The meat was mediocre at best. I will never return to this place. Out of the 10+ barbecue places I have tried this place is the worst. Update: The owner responded to my review in a very condescending way. Basically attempting to dismiss my review. This just goes to show you how impactful a positive or negative review can make on a small business. I hope in the future you will take that to heart. I do appreciate the fact that you refunded my money It's the least you could do. Once I actually receive my funds I will delete the negative review and the one on Yelp. I actually will be returning to your restaurant to try other foods I hope the food and the experience will be much better.

Came here on a Wednesday night, so not very busy. Waitress was nice initially but once food was delivered never saw her again except to bring out the check. Ran out of sweet tea(8/10) about 15-20 minutes before we left but luckily my wife barely touched hers so was able to make it without walking to the bar to ask for a refill. Almost walked over to tea dispenser and serve myself but my wife slid me her drink when I made my intentions known. Food seemed fresh but very bland. If you have dietary restrictions or a sensitive stomach, this might be the place for you. Pulled pork and sausage were pretty good, sauce was okay. Queso(with brisket) would have been good but was "watery" and needed seasoning. I think "Mid" or Bland would best describe the experience. Price was okay. $96 for 4 adults/1 child(she had a side of Mac and cheese) but we didn't even have 5 drinks. My adult daughter showed up 15 minutes after we did and the waitress didn't even bother to come over and see if she wanted a drink. Luckily, or not depending on how you look at it, my daughter thought the food was bland and she was able to get by with a few sips of my wife's drink. Anyway, food aside, the atmosphere is nice. More personal bar/sports bar feel, booths are comfortable. Probably be an okay place to have a drink with friends where the focus was on a sporting event or drinking and not on food. The service was pretty bad but the servers themselves seemed nice, if a bit unobservant. We ended up going to Walk-Ons for 3 of their big warm cookies that are served with ice cream for dessert. They're pretty tasty. Saltgrass has a great pecan bread pudding right now(April '24). 1860 Italia also has a very good bread pudding and banana pudding occasionally. Oh well, sorry for the...
