Brazos County Expo Complex — Local services in Bryan

This expo center is a very nice facility and hosts many events. While some of the indoor facilities are heated and cooled, the outside show barns and arenas are not. They are covered and some have large fans to draw a breeze. Much of the floor space is dirt which is sometimes covered with straw or hay.

Anyone who has asthma or other breathing issues should be aware that under certain conditions the air in these areas can become extremely dusty which might make affect their breathing.

We recently attended World Fest which is an annual event. People who live in the area present food, information, and entertainment from their or their ancestors country of origin. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn about our world without having to travel. You can meet people from all over the world and get to know them and understand some of their customs. Attended the PRCA rodeo both Saturday and Sunday. Expo is new to me and there were 2 events happening that weekend. Crab boil and rodeo. No signage directing car or foot traffic to rodeo arena! No handicap parking close to the arena. No signage on how to get to the seats above the bucking shoots. No refreshments offered at the bucking shoot premium seats, not even water (although literature had said there was). Should have been a fun time but was not. If you're looking for a prime location to really test the limits of your deodorant/antiperspirant this is the spot! You will not find a more soul chokingly humid place on the planet, or at least in Texas. I can imagine if someone were to place a livestock facility deep in the amazon rain forest, that would give this place a run for its money, but until then I'll just assume that this is the spot old spice and other companies go to test their most extreme products.
