Cute restaurant and motel on UT-12. A couple of yrs ago I stayed a night at the motel, and two nights in my Motorhome and enjoyed dinner and breakfast a few times at the restaurant. Everything was fine. This year I came in my Motorhome with plans to stay dispersed camping, however, the fires had me worried. I stop at Bryce Canyons Pine restaurant and motel and asked if I could stay the night in my Motorhome in their parking lot. The desk clerk said he needed to check with his manager first. He came back and said yes no problem but please don’t take up the parking spots. I said if it would help I would be happy to park in the side yard. He said that would be great. I pulled in, leveled up. I went into the restaurant and enjoyed a couple of beers and an app. The restaurant wait staff were fantastic. I told them where I was staying and they said sure people stay there all the time. Soon after I returned to my rig I was approached by a very rude maintenance guy that appeared to be drunk. He told me his manager sent him a nasty text to tell me to get off his f*cking grass and if I tear it up I will pay for it. I tried to explain this was manager approved and is where I was instructed to park. He said his manager didn’t care who told me that or who approved it and that he is the owner. I found out later that Shelly was the one that approved my stay. Which was the smart thing to do. I had only been there for an hour and I had already spent $38 on a couple of beers and fried asparagus. Dinner and breakfast for two would had easily been another $100 bucks or more. But I guess she’s not the boss even though I was told she is the General Manager. I’m waiting to speak with Shelly. Shelly approved my stay and the restaurant served my a couple of beers and now I’m am being very rudely told to leave. Not a good combination to drive a 35,0000 pound Rv even slightly buzzed. Some people just think they know how to manage but in reality they are just someone placed in a position in-spite of their ignorance.

Lovely Lodge nearby the Red canyon and Bryce Canyon. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, available snd supportive: at 11PM we couldn’t figure out how to start the shower as the system was unknown to us. We went for support and were kindly helped right away. The location does not offer breakfast, however there is a restaurant 1 min walking distance open from 7 am. There is an option to book a horse ride in the red canyon: the experience was stunning as the route brings you to few beautiful overlooks! Mike, our guide, gave us few details about the area along the way. Definitely a life worth experience! Close by to bryce canyon and bryce city.

Great lodge as a base camp for exploring Bryce Canyon and the surrounding areas. You are perfectly placed to get to the national park and the red rock area of Utah. The rooms are stuck in a time bubble in terms of decore. However, this is not a bad thing as using a physical key instead of a digital card has its own nostalgic joys for some of us. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. Our only complaints would be the carpet floors and not enough counter spaces. There is a restaurant on site as well if you want breakfast before starting your day in the area. Just remember everything in the area closes at 9pm.

I purchased our stay on Groupon, only to find out the rate was the same with the hotel.|When we pulled up, my mom was so pleased with the surrounding area. |Then the headache/nightmare began. The front desk could not find our reservation. For some reason, the Groupon purchase did not show up in the system they used.|The worst part was she offered nothing to do about it! I literally had to stand there, and ask her if there was a manager she could call. She said the manager is at a conference in San Diego. I am an HR executive so I know how to deal with employee's who can't show leadership skills. I kept asking her what we need to do. She said call Groupon. I contacted Groupon but of course they did not send the reservation over immediately. Though they did send it, she still said she does not see it. I finally insisted she call her colleague (someone who knows what the hell to do!) and some guy came who was just as useless as she was. ||Finally the guy who was in the side room on the outside came in and told her to let us into the room, and that whoever the person was who presumably was the manager would have to "add it to the system" later when she came back into town.||Imagine, after 7 hours of driving, this is what we arrived to. No admittance, incompetent staff, and a situation I had to steer myself to get resolved. We missed the time we would have had to enjoy the jacuzzi, and my mom had fallen earlier in the day. She is 80 and all she wanted to do was rest and sit in the jacuzzi and we could not do any of that. I would never recommend this place. A group of German girls thankfully told us to skip the restaurant because the food was awful. She said "maybe just get fries"||At that point I didn't want to spend another dollar at a property that was this poorly managed, so we went to the local mexican restaurant. It is sad because the location is pretty but until the management gets it together this is not a place that welcomes guests at all.||I hope they learn how to...

This was by far one of my worst incounters with a hotel/motel/owner. I booked at the end of October 2021 with a deposit for the room and within 3 weeks of our stay at the end of July 2022, I recived and email with a huge price increase. Our stay had quadrupled, with no explination no call just a random email.

I called the motel and a very rude lady told me that there is no way I had booked at the price i told her insinuating that I was lying.

The owner was even less helpful as no one would return a call, or email and the phone would just ring.

We were forced to down grade and paid more for a room just so we could keep our vacation as we had other activites paid for and confirmed around the motel. I had a confirmed reservation with a deposit and offered to meet the owner half way to keep our booking. Her response was very crude and insulting as she told me I was just trying to take advantage of her. At that of I continued she would cancel my reservation.

This place was a gohst town the whole 8 days we were there, 90% of the guests were from our group. To top it off the room that we had originally booked was vacant the whole time we were there, and the rate the room was listed for was cheaper than what she tried to make me pay.

This place would have grate potential if the owner made an effort in hospitality at all, however after dealing with her there is now way I would ever come back or recommend the place to anyone.

We were staying with a large group and we're not trying to make it difficult for anyone else, so I have waited till...
