What a horrible experience dealing with these people, Leanne was nice on the phone but the service or lack there of was extremely horrible. We initially took the car there because it was recommended by USAA- the insurance of the girl who hit my wife. The only damage do the vehicle was the driver door and a minor dent in the rear driver door, we received an estimate of $2,200. After a month and half we got the car in for repair and the price jumped to $5,800 over night. The insurance company did the right thing and totaled the vehicle. I was then told I would have to cover the costs to put the doors back on the vehicle, it was $560 and Turner - the owners son- said they would be put on in the same condition as delivered except for the weather stripping. We pick up the car after hours and the whole inside of the car is covered in primer dust- its a body shop, I get it- but neither driver side window was put on the track, the door handles were not attached, and the rear speaker was in the trunk not even back in the door, smh. I called and spoke to Turner the next morning and he told me he would schedule with his mechanic and get back to me. Later that day I get a call from Dave the manager and he told me they would not be taking the car back in, that they are only responsible for assembling the vehicle not making sure it is in working condition, seriously what the point then? He then told me that they had to put on all the bumpers, headlights, and taillights too, why they took them off when the damage was in the center of the doors I have no clue but that explains the huge spike in price over night- milking USAA for unnecessary labor hours, in other words, fraud. I told him this work was unacceptable and to speak to Turner and the owner and he would get back to me if anything changes. I call the next day because I didn't hear back and Turner answered saying he would have to talk to Dave- I was getting the run around- so I told him that if this wasn't corrected I would have to take alternative measures that I did not want to do, I just wanted them to fix the car like they said they would, what I paid for. I said I would call my bank and reverse the charge- at this point I had still not signed or seen any paperwork- call their cooperate office and the better business bureau. Later that day I had a friend call me who works with them through the insurance side of things and tell me about a conversation he had with Dave in person about this situation. Dave basically told him there is nothing they can do for me so that was my confirmation in the next steps I would take.. I reversed the charge and was going to leave it at that, then a couple weeks later I get a threatening letter saying they would send me to collection, file a lien, and possibly take me to court over the money. I immediately called cooperate and dealt straight with them. We went back and fourth about 3 weeks and then I get a call from the owner Aaron. He berated me for about 5 minutes, told me to stop calling cooperate, and come pay the full amount by the end of the week in cash or he was sending this to his attorney. He didn't even want to know why this situation has evolved this far, didn't even care, I asked him and he straight up said "I didn't call to hear anything you have to say but to tell you to pay me in cash by the end of week or I'm suing you for it." This is the one and only time I spoke to him. See, my wife and I are trying to buy a house- we're new to the area- and this would definitely hinder that with credit issues. I told her to go and pay it at the original location because he called from his Lexington shop so that way we can get the paperwork for it. I was never not willing to pay them something, I told cooperate multiple times and tried telling him but like I said he didn't call to talk to me, he called to yell and berate me. I am now in touch with the state attorney so please avoid this headache if you are able, HORRIBLE BUSINESS, don't be fooled by good reviews like I...
Read moreFirst off, My car is lowered a little so maybe this isnt applicable to everyone. The first day I come here to have my car alligned I was promised the service to be done within an hour of the car being dropped off. 4 hours later I get told I need camber bolts for them to preform the service. Not the biggest of deals, just a waste of my time. The second time I come in I had the camber bolts already installed so literally an allignment needed to be preformed. Once again I was promised a one hour wait. EIGHT HOURS LATER I get a call saying my car was done and was asked if I'd pay additional money for the service taking so long. I declined because I brought what was asked and did everything I could to make the job doable. Fast forward about two weeks my camber bolts fails on the side of the road and chews up the inside of the wheel, had to do a makeshift adjustment until I can get home. (30 mins south of Omaha) so now I wasted that $100 to spend more money because it's out of alignment again!
Edit after the comment underneath was made. Went in the frist day after I got home from Omaha, Aaron asked if I installed the camber bolt that came loose myself (yes I did) after that he said the issue was no longer his problem. After a few words were said we scheduled an appointment for the following day.
To be honest I put on aftermarket wheels and tires the day after I received the alignment and the tires rubbed on the test drive, after I knew they rubber I rolled the fenders to not rub on the tires anymore.
With that information being above, on my appointment for the second day Aaron said the due to my tires having rib marks he claims that the rubbing is what made the bolt come loose and will not warranty...
Read moreRecently had need for repair of our Dodge Caravan, due to deer strike. Wanted a shop close and good. Discovered Carrender Collision during web search. Five star rating, with over 40 reviews. Figured that many people can't be wrong. The entire right side was involved, over $6000 in damage. I knew immediately, upon my first call to Aron (owner), that this was the right choice. As many other reviews state, he is courteous, professional, and always willing to give you all the time needed to answer your questions. Aron will keep you informed of progress with texts or calls. The process between Carrender`s and my insurance company was seamless. Aron handled the whole thing like a pro. I was really impressed when we picked our vehicle up. Every door and panel lined up perfectly. As an extra, unexpected touch, the interior was far cleaner than when we dropped it off. In my opinion, Aron goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. So I can, without any reservations, recommend...
