Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Buckner

Daytime service is outstanding, this review is strictly about evening/night service. I live right outside of town, and this is the only fast food restaraunt within about a 15 minute radius (either independence or grain valley, approx 11 miles either way) so it's just the easiest quick local dinner, especially after 9pm. Everytime I make an evening order after around 8pm (doesn't matter if it's weekday\end) my fries are always stale, cold, and hard. If i order a bacon burger in the evening, I would almost bet that i am served the bacon that sat in the warmer all day either from breakfast or lunch, as it is as hard as a rock and could break teeth. If i get a coney, it is insanely stale and almost rubber-like, which is revolting and no amount of chili or cheese could fix it. Please just change these practices, fries only take a few minutes, bacon is easy to make as well, and in a small town such as this there's no reason someone would be against waiting for fresh food...

In a word horrendous. This is the third time we have been to this particular sonic and each time they have messed something with our orders up. Tonight they left out 2 orders of fries, my son's cherry limeade was all limeade and NO cherry, plus they couldn't even mention they were out of toys for the kids meals we ordered. The fries we did get in the kids meals were cold and borderline stale. On top of all of that we waited almost 20 minutes just to get our shorted incorrect order. When I went to get it corrected the only thing they offered besides the forgotten items and correctly made cherry limeade was a free drink token. I wish I could say this was an isolated incident. Really wish management cared enough to do something to fix these issues.

Wasn't half bad, shlushie was the wrong flavor, but it was still good. Management has seemed to improved. Still a little slow, but given how everyone is short staffed it's...

Most everyone there is very nice, and sweet. However I did give a 3 star review because of one person. I believe her name is Jes or Jessica. Everytime I go there I try to be nice and ask her how her day is, say thank you I’m respectful to her. Yet she does not show the same respect. She is ALWAYS very rude everytime I have to deal with her, seems annoyed if I ask for sauces, always rushes me in my order and I have to tell her multiple times I’m not done, that’s I’ve only prefer two things, she gives dirty looks to you when you ask her a question, she is just not my idea of customer service. And I have given her MANY chances over the years never being rude or mean to her because you never know what someone is dealing with. But after today I can promise I will NEVER be back to this sonic until as long as she is...
