La Hacienda — Restaurant in Buckner

The worst experience I have ever had at a sit down restaurant. My mother asked a question because she didn't understand what the waiter was saying and he was extremely rude to her. Then he had someone else bring our food to the table, never came back to the table, but walked to each table on each side of us to check on them. Then picked up a plate off the table and walked away still not asking. Then brought the check. I proceeded to ask if there was a problem and asked why he treated us so rudely. . .he then asked with a grin, is there anything I can get you? Really?? Then he walks behind the counter as he and a co-worker laugh. I asked for a manager and it's the coworker who was laughing along. Needless to say, I won't be back!!! Terrible customer service!!!! Lord only knows what was done...

I usually love this restaurant. Always had good food. This time it was horrible! The chips were not edible. They tasted like they had been dipped in rancid grease. The chili verde pork was dry and the rice was too dry to choke down. This was a to go order and I drove 15 min there and 15 min back to get it or I would have went back to complain. It went in the trash. That’s not reason for this rating though. The reason: I called the restaurant to let them know so I wouldn’t have to leave a bad rating. I was very nice and explained the issue. I was told that “ we have no control over the way our food tastes” WHAT? Isn’t that what you do? Then I tried to contact them the only other way available which is FB messenger. Their meat had no flavor. Not even garlic or anything. My burrito litteraly was a tortilla shell with ONLY beef in it, no cheese, no sauce, nothing. Many customers were loudly using profanity (which is to be expected a little) but we could not avoid hearing it even sitting in the farthest corner of the place. The taco was also flavorless meat with only cheese and maybe 2 shreds of lettuce on it. And this was the second chance I gave the place. The first time there were bones in my chicken.
