BookStacks — Local services in Bucksport

I visited BookStacks in early July 2022 with my own book in hand and a flyer for a book-signing event that was happening soon thereafter. The owner greeted me graciously, purchased the copy of my book, agreed to place the flyer about my event in a prominent location for customers and passersby to see it, and insisted on providing change when the value of the gift certificate I used to purchase a book from him was not completely consumed by my item selected. He also explained the pricing that he would involve for future copies of my novel, if I wish to utilize his store as a distributor.

Due to personal circumstances, Andy has had to close the shop occasionally in the last few months, so the store is sometimes closed unexpectedly. However, the community supports the owner, and I must say that if I lived nearby, I would be in the shop almost every day! He carries a great selection of titles and authors, and a number of newspapers are available. Picturesque calendars are available for the coming year, as well as post cards and various gifts.

BookStacks is well worth your time, effort, and money! By the end of your first visit you'll wonder what took you so long to get there to begin with, and you'll already be planning your next trip...

If you're in Bucksport, you MUST stop in. Cozy little shop that carries a range of things from postcards (which aren't easy to find), note cards which I love, my daughter got an unusual but cool bookmark and a little music box. I walked around to see everything while she sat and spent time petting the cat Lucky. They have magnets, cards, wine, calendars, lots of gift items and a wide variety of books. The owner is really nice, my daughter tends to ask a lot of questions and that day she wanted to know all about Lucky... he took the time to tell her...

stopped in in the middle of january while on a getaway with my partner. store was well stocked with a lot of interesting things, especially as a non-fiction reader (outdoorsy stuff, history and psychology, local picks, among else) The inclusion of a second-hand section was nice, and i enjoyed the range of selections there. Assortment of local souvenirs, bookmarks, notecards, as well as seating and drinks for those looking to read in the store. SUPER CUTE...
