San Marcos Tubing & Float Trips — Local services in Buda

River is nice, my friend forgot the plug to her tube and the park had no tubes for rent so she had to walk clear across the park and across the street to rent one. Parking is horrible. They need a big parking lot to accommodate all the people all they have is side of street parking and they get mad if you try to wait for a car that's leaving. We1 had to drive around awhile before finding a place to park. The place is fairly clean but they need someone to be at the end of the river to help people out as the stairs are very slippery at the end.Best part was the first shoot. We paid $157.66 to be left after our float.There is no time limit but you can be left behind and expected to pay for an Uber on top of the payment you make. Not only did our guide leave us but the rest of the team was very rude insinuating there was a time limit. Very poor experience as a tourist expecting to pay that much not to have to worry. We arrived mid day for birthday celebrations, lines were long and slow to pay for your tub, the water was surprisingly cool on a very hot day. Took an hour to go down the river, didn’t do the riptides but watched from the very long shuttle ride line. Looked like lots of fun, for sure would like to return and do the rip tides.
