An absolute delightful and excellent experience! From their super helpful and welcoming front desk members, Ms Angel and optician, Ms Sylvia, to Dr. Atencio and Dr. Urbina, they showed nothing but professional and efficient care! Dr. Atencio showed her talent and skills taking care of my son and catered to his ever-changing vision needs as a teenager. She’s very attentive and took her time addressing my son’s concerns. Dr. Urbina took care of me and my other two younger children with the utmost kindness and patience. We have been seeking for and receiving his care for the past five years and he has never faltered. He’s been consistent with explaining to us the changes in our vision and has always been helpful listening to our concerns. He’s always given us the most positive individualized care. But…This is our first time in their newly established Lookout Eyecare and we are very pleased to recommend it to all families! Their new facility is clean, very modern, and inviting! It's not everyday you use the word fun to describe a visit to your optometrist. My wife and I were so impressed by the quality of care we received after visiting the team at Lookout Eyecare. First, the office itself is beautiful and welcoming. You're greeted by friendly, smiling faces, and they even have snacks and drinks available in the lobby. We had our toddler and newborn with us, but worry not! They had a kid-sized chair and table where our son was able to color, play with toys, and watch shows on his tablet while waiting.

The actual eye exam with Dr. Atencio was eye-opening (pun intended)! I've been getting my eyes checked annually for probably the last 30 years, and they have machines and instruments in their clinic that I've never seen before. Best of all, Dr. Atencio is professional, caring, knowledgeable, and really takes the time to educate and inform. She explained everything she was doing, what each machine was looking for, and even showed me just what she was talking about. To be honest, I've always found eyeballs (mine included) to be a little gnarly, but the images she took and her explanation of them were really cool. Dr. Atencio has taken care of our family for many years. We first meet her when our youngest daughter was having a problem with her contacts. She worked diligently to help our daughter save and heal her eyes from any damage. From that moment my husband was willing (you know most men don’t easily go to the doctor) to have his eyes checked and has now consistently made his appointments and gone to her as soon as he has an eye issue. Our oldest daughter who I’ve been try for years to schedule with Dr. Atencio finally did and called me crying because she has never had such a thorough explanation of her eyes to help her understand the attention that they need to be given. As of recent I took my mom with me and all I heard from her is you have to bring me to see Dr. Atencio for my regular exams. So, yes we will be driving the 45 min to see Dr.Atencio who thoroughly examines, explains and cares for and has taught us how to treat and what to expect for the health and longevity of our eyes.
