This was my first visit to a Do-It Center in the U.S. I was pleasantly surprised. The place looks small from the outside but it's quite large. They have pretty much anything you need to most jobs about the house. I picked up some contact cleaner and some fuel stabilizer. Their prices were a bit on the high side. Not sure if thats normal or supply chain/covid related. The staff was really helpful. Can't say enough about the folks there. For a trip to a hardware store, it was quite enjoyable. I'll go back if for no other reason than to listen to the friendly banter about the store. Update: 08/26/23 Needed a couple of things. One being very esoteric. I got the regular stuff. One of the fellows at the store helped my look for a solution to my esoteric problem. They couldn't help me. I won't hold it against them. The fellow who helped me really tried and couldn't figure a solution. The folks who work there are still super. Love the...
Read moreWhat a rip off. I never do reviews but I must to save you. !!! Stay away from this place. I will let everyone know I can. I brought my mower in for blades to be replaced . The ones my son put on was wrong ones. So they shifted. They claim they had to rethread the threads to put new blades back on.which was charged $350 and don’t believe it was even needed. The nuts was tight so how can threads be damaged. ? And I asked for the maintenance package . It’s $169 they should change your oil filters 2 sparks plugs grease bearings and gas filter. I got home to find out that they touched nothing. ! Charged me for work they didn’t do and bragged how they got me done instead of the 2-3 week wait time to do job. No wander they was done so fast. Very shady. I feel people are getting taken advantage of. !! Don’t let them work on anything!! Trust me . Flat out stealing. Stay...
Read moreThis year I purchased 60 bales of pine straw. 3 times 20 bales each. My husband picked them up on his truck, he is handicapped and unable to help load. They looked like they were pitched in the truck back. By the time I unloaded them the strings were off center and came of lots of the bales meaning I had to take them off the truck by the arm full. The 3rd time I asked my husband to please ask them to stack it maybe this would help keep the strings in place. The response I got back(my husband said from the owner himself) was they would put it on the tailgate and it I wanted it stacked I could come do it myself. Maybe this is the way you keep customers, I don't know, but this is not my way. I won't be back to purchase anything from the Do It Center in Bunn. Also this is the first time ever I got red bugs from putting out pine straw. Maybe they should change the name to Do It...
