I decided to post an updated review after coming to this salon for the past year. Originally I was thrilled, but now it pains me to say that I no longer will come to this salon after the past couple of experiences I have had. I think I got lucky with my first haircut, because the rest of them were pretty much terrible. To summarize my entire review, I would say they have poor quality haircuts and are unprofessional and not worth your money. If you want my explanation as to why, continue reading.
I will only specifically talk about my latest experience to shorten the length of my review. It started with an email that my appointment was changed without my consent. I called the salon and they claimed it was moved "concerning my safety with the severe weather". This location's weather was being closely monitored, but the appointment change didn't have to do with me, but with the stylist wanting to go home (I figure that out later). I agree to move the appointment up anyways and come in early. When I arrive I was immediately ushered into a seat to begin my haircut. She must not have listened to the details of what I wanted because everything about this haircut was wrong. The very first thing I said was to leave the length of my hair, because I was trying to grow it out. She cut probably four inches off of my hair. It took me months to grow that out and it was gone in 5 minutes, I was devastated to come home and see it. My bangs were cut so short and looked nothing like the reference photos I showed her. I think the problem stylists have is that they claim to see four inches of split ends, when in reality its a quarter of an inch of split ends on each layer of someones hair. If each layer was trimmed, the length wouldn't be lost. I told her I had layers, yet she proceeded to cut four inches off. I discovered her focus was on leaving early rather than caring about my wellbeing as she was cutting my hair. She seemed to be chopping my hair quickly and carelessly in an effort to leave early. Maybe if more time was taken focussing on what details I said, I wouldn't be so upset. The especially unfortunate thing is that these people are extremely nice, but it doesn't make up for the terrible haircuts. In conclusion, save your time and protect your self-confidence by going...

-Multiple scheduling issues on their part with no apologies or desire to make it right (I gave multiple tries and the same happened to my mother). I even showed up early and they sent me back since they wrongly put it in the system for the following day instead. Had to call later to make a different appointment since you canāt change it online or over their text system.
-Flat out rude and unprofessional staff both in person and over the phone
-Unwelcoming the moment you walk in the door (Amy was extra rude) including ignoring customers and lacking overall communication skills
-No clear answers on who is experienced in curly hair
-Waited and was ignored for over 50mins (waiting in an uncomfortable metal chair & stuck listening to the low quality radio station full of non stop commercials) till I walked out; they didnāt even flinch or say a word. They didnāt call to apologize or check to see if I even showed up. No communication, no greeting from the scheduled hair dresser, no update on wait time, not even a glance in the general direction. I was invisible and my presence felt as an inconvenience.
These issues seems to be common since it has happened to my mother and other reviewers. They donāt seem to fix the issue, have any clue how to apologize, or make an effort to admit fault. This service was so terrible I had to leave my first review. I didnāt even touch on the quality of the website or social media. Truly dissatisfied and disappointed. I am glad I didnāt even get a hair cut or give...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDecided on this place because of their vivid color expertise. I got stuck with the new girl, who is snail-like. She was very sweet. I know everyone has to learn things. I had highlights and color done, I was there for 7 hours. 1 hour being in the waiting area. I told myself if they didn't start by 1 pm, I would leave. My appointment was for 12 pm and they started at 11:55. She was helping another employee with something while she received help for a cut on a client, instead of starting with me. She didn't remember what we were doing, even though I was required to go in for a consultation a few days prior. I cried the whole way home after being left to sit with dripping wet hair while she left to cut another person's hair. The color wasnt right, so she washed, then dried, then had to color again, then wash again, then dry again. There were two other employees who had to help. It was such an awful, long, waste of an afternoon. I will do my hair myself next time, in about 3 hours.
*Edit/update, since you made it where I cannot respond to you. This had absolutely nothing do with how my hair dyes, my hair has always lifted just fine for blonde/highlights and I've done my own color for years in far less than 7 hours. What it comes down to is a lack of organization and skill. I don't believe the girl who did my hair was licensed. There's no way. The time management was completely awful. As well as...
