I went here as a bride with 2 of my bridesmaid. First everything seemed fine and then everything began to unravel. The day of our second appointment she asked us to change the time and mind you I have two girls driving from 3+ hours away that Iâve already made her aware of at our first appointment. Okay, we adjusted to the afternoon. Then 2 minutes before the appointment she cancels after they drove all that way wasting gas, time, and taking off work. I asked her if we could do the next day Sunday because one of my bridesmaids will still be in town and did not get a response. We then had the to reschedule for 3 weeks away after she cancelled and she seemed irritated that we werenât available sooner and thatâs when she realized she didnât have a deposit when she was the one who canceled our appointment. She also never asked for a deposit during our first appointment and calls me as Iâm leaving for vacation to come by and give her a deposit or send money via cashapp. My girls are pissed at me at this point. She did the 2nd one incorrectly instead of the way I asked so she had to make the 3+ hour trip a 4th time. During the 4th scheduled appointment I was not present and she called me a âwardenâ to my...
Read moreI found this shop on Google to do alterations on my daughters dress for her first prom. I was told itâd be ready in 2 weeks. The day before I was scheduled to pick it up, I called and was told the dress would be ready. The day of, we went to pick up the dress but I had my daughter try it on before we left. Thankfully we did because there was a needle and thread still hanging in the dress and she had forgotten to fix 2 places on the dress. I was charged $180 (cash or cash app ONLY) for the alterations which included cutting and hemming about 7 inches off the train and about 2 to 3 inches on the front, 2 darts in the waistline, stitching up 2 spots where the boning of the dress was poking out, then cutting the length off the strings that are used to tie the back of the dress. My daughter had the dress on for 4 hrs and one of the darts came undone while she was at the prom. The hem came loose in the back and the lady never stitched the ends of the string that she cut so therefore, those started unraveling. So please if you can find someone else to do your alterations, Iâd definitely recommend doing so. I trusted this shop to take care of my daughterâs dress and I was HIGHLY...
Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. I brought my dress here for alterations and was treated with complete disrespect and dishonesty.
From the start, the seamstress made inappropriate and body-shaming remarks, particularly about how the dress fit across my chest. Instead of offering support, she criticized my figure in a way that was both hurtful and unprofessional.
She also overcharged me $300 for what ended up being one day of work, claiming she had to alter â9 layersâ of the dress â when in reality, there were only 2 layers. It felt like she took advantage of my age and the urgency of my situation, using it as an excuse to inflate the price without justification.
Her attitude was rude and dismissive throughout the entire interaction. This wasnât just poor customer service â it was a degrading and uncomfortable experience that left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of.
I would strongly advise others, especially younger clients, to take their business elsewhere. No one should be made to feel ashamed of their body or manipulated financially when seeking a...
