I took an anniversary band with garnet that fell out to be fixed. The estimate was just over $40, but when I went to pick the ring up I was charged $85.00. I was shocked! No phone call was made to me before the work started on the ring to say it would be more. Basically I had no choice but to pay the cost to get my ring back. I was told it was due to the cost of working with white gold, and that they will need to train their their employee to do a better job on estimates, and nothing more.
