I bought a Toro lawnmower from Midwest Lumber in Pleasant Hill, MO. The top of the engine blew off after about 2.5 years, so I took it back to them since it was still under warranty. They had to ship it off to the main store in Butler, MO for serious repairs. It took about 3 weeks for the Toro rep to show up, only to say that it was a Kawasaki problem since the engine was Kawasaki. I personally went down to Butler a week ago so try to get some answers. Justin told me all that and that he was going to get ahold of Kawasaki. I asked him how long he thought it might take as long to get him there as it took the Toro rep. He thought it would only take a day or 2 since he was going to mail pictures to them. Well, a week later, still no word from Kawasaki. "It's out of our hands now." I called again today (I'm calling daily now) and was told, once again, no. I called back to the store and asked to talk to the manager of the store. I told him who I was and what I was calling about. He said he didn't know anything about it and was going to transfer me back to the repair dept. I said, "No, don't do that. I already talked to them." Well, he transferred me anyway. I won't be buying anything else from them if I can help it and certainly won't be going back...
