The quality of the meat is consistently top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and expertly cut. Whether I’m picking up steaks for a special dinner, sausage for the smoker, or jerky for a road trip, everything is packed with care and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to offer cooking tips or recommendations. You can tell they take pride in their craft and truly care about their customers. Wonderful little shop that sells various types and cuts of meat. Staff at the meat counter are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also sell homemade raviolis, totellini, and gnocchi, various cheeses and pasties. The shop is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly. I met Diane behind the counter the day that I was there. Lovely lady, enjoyed chatting with her as I checked out. I am not a local. I come to Butte once a year from Chicago, to visit family. A stop to the Meat Block is essential as I have become addicted to their chocolate covered cinnamon gummy bears. I always buy a supply to take back home with me. A great little store. I would definitely recommend...

We love your shop for the most part, except for the fact that the tenderness of the meat runs hot and cold. We buy the better cuts [ Rib steaks, bacon wrapped bar-be-que] etc..We have been so disappointed in our last purchases,that we most likely will not be back. We have spent a lot of money there in the three years that we have lived here, but we cannot just come in and buy bacon, hamburger, and sausage. We love our steaks so hopefully we will find another source for quality beef. Sorry to let you know...
