Meat department is amazing, clean and managed by the very best. He's outstandingly friendly and unequalled by anyone I've seen in the upper Cumberland or anywhere else for that matter. The ladies very friendly and helpful. One male in particular who may be high in the ranks, at least he wants people to think he is. He's very friendly to some, his cronies I guess but seems to think I'm in a lower class than he. Maybe I am and that's okay. However several times when I'm entering the store he yells out hello loud and clear to any who are in front of me and to any who are following me. However he has nothing to say to me giving me a look as though he's a much higher class than I. I travel many miles because I actually love the store and the manager of the meat department by far the greatest man, both personality and work ethic that I've met. Treated like family except the one with his nose in the air. He puts his britches on like all the rest and maybe needs to be reminded of that. Sold a rotten on the inside potato for 3 dollars. They have food that is out of date they do not remove it from their shelves. I was once told by a cashier that "no that is not the expiration date it's the day they packaged it." On 2 days out of date chicken. Of all things that can make you sick. I Love this grocery store! It has everything you need. For a small town store it has a great selection of fruits and vegetables. It has a great variety of meat products.
