I ordered grilled tenderloin that was on the menu. There was no indication on the menu whether it was beef or pork. My intention was to have the beef tenderloin. When the waitress brought my meal it ended up being pork. Told her that I expected to have beef and then I wanted to talk to the manager. I told the manager I did not eat pork. The manager argued with me that since I was in Tennessee I should expect pork and that in his 30 years of the restaurant business he has never heard of beef tenderloin. I suggested that they be specific on their menu and then. he insulted me by questioning “ you eat beef but not pork”. told him there was no reason to have personal insults and he walked away from me in a huff and said he was going to Google beef tenderloin because he did not believe me
I can live with a misunderstanding of the menu item but when the manager insulted me twice and had his hands in his pocket and left in a huff basically calling me a liar that’s when I draw the line. And for 9.99 there were 2 paper thin strips of pork with a dinner roll and a 1/4 cup of side and I had the salad bar. 👎👎👎👎👎👎
In response to the owner, I was not rude or haughty to either the waitress or the manager, it was the manager that was rude to me and basically called me a liar that he in 30 years in the restaurant business had never heard of beef tenderloin. Hopefully he knows how to use Google and saw there is such a thing as beef tenderloin. I also took my food and paid for what I ordered, NEVER did I indicate I would not pay for my meal.
you’re missing the point that your manager insulted me as a customer. Saying that just because I’m in Tennessee I should assume pork And that he showed is ignorance by saying in 30 years he’s never heard of beef tenderloin and calling me a liar. On the other hand he should’ve been open to hearing about beef tenderloin and maybe adding it...
Read moreme and the littles pulled up for dinner and there were literally no other customers and now I can see why!!! Being the only customers in the entire restaurant service was just meh Ordered ff and chicken nuggets for my LOs and a burger and loaded fry’s for myself. Food came out pretty quickly and my LOs food was fine. My burger was mediocre. Tasted like gas station burger but the ff were awful. The cheese was just heaped on not even close to melted and the bacon wasn’t even cooked. I did tell my waitress I wouldn’t eat the fry’s and why. Nothing was done to try to rectify the situation. Then as we were eating the staff was talking to some people who came to hangout with them. That’s fine. What’s not fine is they started talking about drugs 3 feet away from the customers/4 yo! So on my way out while paying I told the waitress I’d really rather not prefer to pay for those fry’s and she said well the owner told me to charge you. I said can you go get him please? And when he came out and asked me what was wrong with them I told him. He said ‘you could have asked her to throw them in the microwave’. I said ‘it shouldn’t be on me as the customer to rectify/come up with a solution to the problem.’ Then he tried to argue with me and tell me he doesn’t come into my home and not eat the fry’s I make, I just stared at him. He looked at the server told her not to worry about my bill and told me not to come back. Don’t worry my...
Read moreWe ate lunch there today. The waitress came to take our drink orders, and we asked for menus. We waited about 10 minutes before a different waitress came to check on us. We again asked for menus and she did bring them. We ordered, and my wife asked (the first waitress) for Heinz 57. She brought an empty bottle and slammed it on the table as she walked by. A different waitress brought my food, and we asked for another bottle, which she did get. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It was DISGUSTING! Extremely greasy and tasted NASTY. A completely different waiter agreed to take it back, and I ordered a plain cheeseburger, with nothing else. The rest of my family completely finished their meals and the cheeseburger was never brought out. I finally was frustrated enough to just leave. As I was paying for my families food the manager brought the burger out and told us to just take it. They weren’t busy enough for food to take so long and have to have 5 different wait staff. Also their ranch dressing is dispensed from a water jug that’s not refrigerated. Very strange. There’s a “For sale” sign in front of the restaurant. That should have been a red flag. Definitely...
