I began my experience SYS with an unlimited 21 day new student package.I attended many classes and had the opportunity to experience most of the instructors. I have since enrolled as an unlimited class package user and attend a class most days. My understanding of yoga, the community, and my practice continues to grow. I always walk away with a juicy morsel of knowledge and continue to grow as a yogi and a better human. This studio provides the full yogic experience. What I am saying is, " This is the real deal........asanas, spiritual practice, breath-work, community, love, humor in a safe space without judgement in a diverse community!" Solstice Yoga Shala is truly a special space, perfect for experienced practitioners AND those wanting to test the yoga waters for the first time. This has been my yoga home since 2014, when I walked through the door for the first time, knowing nothing about yoga. The teachers are kind, skilled, and always encouraging. In our present reality, cleanliness and safety are a priority. The studio is spotless, offering in-person, socially distanced spacing for those craving live classes, while also offering virtual options for individuals who want to participate in a high quality yoga class from home. SYS is such a gem of a third space. The community is fully present, caring and supportive. As a yoga teacher, I had more or less sworn off yoga studios because of the all-too-commonplace pretentiousness and competitive branding.
