Vault has custom built a lot of furniture for us over the past ~12 years. All their pieces combine utilitarian design with rugged elegance. The result is simple yet rare: furniture we love that lasts. Vault built us a coffee table, then a bar, some shelving, and a bookcase. Not to mention the flower stands and custom centerpieces that have adorned our home(s) over the years. I say homes not because we have a bunch of them, but because we've had Vault furniture in all our living spaces across multiple states over the years. When it survives a rickety U-Haul move, you know it's durable! Andy & Brandi care about their customers and deliver professional design, manufacturing, packaging, delivery, and after-sale care without fail. It's no surprise their company has grown to be a premier custom furniture builder that serves a ton of clients across the continent. It was a positively blissful experience working with the folks at Vault Furniture. I emailed them a description of what I wanted in terms of height and length, and type of wood, and got an estimate that was a bit beyond my budget. When they heard that, they asked me my budget and came up with a new design, with a slightly less expensive (but still beautiful) wood, and tweaked a little, to come just under my limit. They checked in with me often. I mentioned a desire for strong bookends and they ended up creating a design that will end up in their product line (and sent a couple to me, gratis) When installers came to mount the shelves, they continued to offer counsel. When naysayers questioned the security of my books on the shelves, they have a detailed explanation of the load-bearing capabilities. My wife & I cannot say enough about Brandi & Andy. They designed & built an absolutely beautiful shelving unit for our library. This was an enormous job, 13 feet high & 18 feet long — not only was it easy & shockingly quick working with Vault, but their craft & attention to detail paid off in every inch of the final product. The reclaimed pine is stunning, a ton of history & personality in the wood, with one side planed off & sealed to make wonderfully functional shelves.
