Cal City Clinic — Local services in California City

We just moved to Boron and wanted to find a doctor close to us. We found this clinic on line. This has been the worse experience, my husband and I have ever had at a doctor office. They were very uninformed on medical situations and could not answer questions satisfactorily. They wanted to have my thyroid checked to issue a new prescription, which was obviously the right thing to do; however, they could not do it that day and said I needed to come back the next day at 10:00 A.M. I was there at the appropriate time and the doors were locked. After waiting in my car for about 20 minutes, they put a note on the door that the doctor would not be in until 2:00 P.M. The doctor is not the one that draws blood and since it is over an hour trip to the office, I opted to go back the following day. After a long wait in the waiting room, they took me back to where they were going to draw blood, I sat in that room for almost an hour because their was nothing in the chart to tell them what they were suppose to check for. They finally found the information and they completed the lab draw; however, it took me another week to get my prescription. Even then I had to call the office, and they called back because they didn't know what medicine I needed. I am only on ONE for my thyroid. They wanted me to make another appointment to see the doctor before I could get my script. REALLY???? iT IS FOR THYROID, all they need to do is check my levels and call in a script for the appropriate dosage. So, I finally get my script and there are NO refills. I have to have this for the rest of my life, it is NOT a controlled substance or a narcotic. Even people in the waiting room told me I needed to find another doctor, they did not know about the above situation. Please, please do not go here. Became a new patient at this location and when I went in to get my physical and shots and blood drawn the nurse asked me to sit on the foot of the wait table (which is unusual because when taking blood they usually have you lay back in case you faint) as she began to stick me to take my blood. As soon as she was done she left the room and I fainted, falling face first into the ground from up off the table. I'm already 6'4 so the fall onto my face cause severe bruising and swelling and I ended up going to Lancaster emergency to get a Catscan since I fell on my face.. I haven't pressed charges yet but after looking at the reviews, and seeing a 2 star rating, I cant help but feel this location just lacks seriously in alot of things. Mostly employee care for customers and how they handle procedure. Seems like their nurses aren't trained and don't care. Doctor was a bit short on the communication of why I was originally there. This place just sucks.. Ill never go back here or take my family. If I could give a 0 star review I would.. All the hospital did to try to make things right was apologize for the nurse not being more focused. Nothing else. And now I suffer from constant neck issues. So unless you're trying to get more messed up physically I wouldnt recommend coming...

The worst staff ever Never filled prescriptions went to appointments on time left me waiting longer at my appointment I want to sue this clinic for Mal Practice Donald Harwick has no empathy or compassion for his patients they leave you locked outside and take 20 minutes to open up the door the Nurses at this location had no class at all others arrived and were served ahead of me when I arrived at my doctor appointment on time this office never filled life threatening medicine that I have to take for my Parathyroid the lack of compassion from the staff and doctor almost killed me I went somewhere else the New doctors office had my prescriptions filled the same day this office made me go without medicine 9 months this Location should be closed down Permanently he kept trying to give me a different prescription that I am allergic too he could not make anything right to help my health issues they dont care about your health at this location the medical board needs to strip this doctor from medical license for Mal Practicing on Patients this doctor cant tell you Left from Right should be fired...
