Been living here and it’s been a living hell do not waste your time or money. After management changed it’s been nothing but issues. Roaches and rat filled apartments with broken appliances. The new property manager Kera is a joke and do not help at all with an attitude problem that will one day get fixed and humbled. I am a resident and hate it. I have been on a medical leave from work due to a vp shunt placed in the right side of my skull so of course I cannot work but have to wait on short term disability to kick it finally did and willing to pay my past rent up so I can get current but they would not accept partial payment. Short term disability do not pay in one lump sum only 60% of my check weekly so I tried to fill out for help thru township and they was willing to pay my balance in full with a check but the leasing office refused the check stating they do not accept rental assistance. So they do not accept rental assistance or partial payments and late fee charges are still adding on to the rent already owed($5 per day plus $50) After the 16th they add on another $400 for eviction proceedings. I have been off due to surgery and going thru recovery the stress dealing with this place trying to avoid eviction is pure hell and has caused me to have a setback. IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!! I hate leaving bad reviews but this place us horrible! Everything is FAKE!!! From the management who practice illegal business. Ms Davis is the worst of all!! She tell you bc they have a contract you cant get any other cable like direct tv. Not true! They can tell you where it can't go on their property but can't tell you you can't have any other service. It's called a monopoly and totally illegal. She conspires behind your back to force you into signing leases. I Walked in on them talking about me and the private details of my household which was totally untrue. Theirs mold all in the walls. They don't treat it the cover it up. They don't fix things. It's been a year things still not fixed. They accuse you and try to kick you out for hear say. It's ROACH infested!!! It looks good on the outside but it's electrical, plumbing, and many more foundational issues. Phony unprofessional staff that's good with hiding it until you don't do what they say. Beware they are liars too. Read the lease and know your legal rights. Shootings and burglaries happen here. I was burglarized the second day I moved in. The office was just nonchalant and said oh wow why didnt you put it in the shed. Mind you the shed has no lock lol. This place is the one you want to pass by. Complete joke. I have lived here for almost 5 years and i can actually say it was very nice up until the last 2 years. Management is terrible very unprofessional. Especially since the new management has taken over and made everything low income it has gotten even worse. They've added new windows and did certain cosmetic upgrades, but in my opinion without a foundation the upgrades are absolutely useless. I had mold in my bathroom and they came n half fixed it. For the money the wife and I pay for this apartment i actually could get something entirely nicer without having the Gary, In address. Please look around before...
