Atmosphere was pleasant and some of the best ranch dressing I have tasted in a long while. Broccoli Cheese bites and the homemade chips (a side for our children) were good (although both needed a little salt).
Food, not so much... Salads had lots of wilted pieces hidden through out. Bacon wrapped pork chop had no seasoning. Grilled garlic and herb tilapia was under-seasoned. Both dishes were burnt on one side (ironically, the side facing the plate) and our children's food (mini corn dogs) was overcooked as well.
Service was slow and scattered. Dressings were removed from table before we had even finished our salads. Husband and all four of our children left the restaurant while I waited for the check. I had waited another 10 (approx.) minutes before giving up and asking a different wait staff for the check. In an effort to assist wait staff, we generally try to tidy our table and pick up any messes our children may have made. We also do this to signal to the staff that we are done and ready for the check. This was done well before husband left with our children.
Being mindful of taking small children out to eat, we entered the establishment at a little before 5 pm and left at about 630 pm. This was in an effort to avoid a dinner rush. (NOTE: Restaurant opened at 430 pm).
Was definitely NOT worth $65 for 2 adults and 3 young children ($13/adult, $5/child, $6 appetizer, $9 in soda (FYI, they charge full price for child serving of soda ($2.25)), $4-ish for a beer + tax). Husband wishes we had our money back (minus the price of the beer, and appetizer)... :S
Will most likely only return to purchase...
Read moreMy husband and I went to the black angus steakhouse last Saturday for supper. The entire experience was so disappointing. Our server was awful. She never once checked on us, never got refills, and we had to wave her down to ask for our check (she only had one other table, and had plenty of time to stand and text on her phone). The food was a complete disappointment. Cheese balls had no flavor. The dinner “salad” was literally just a handful of lettuce on a plate. I will give them credit that the ranch was good and actually the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the angus burger. It was a premade frozen patty. The seasoned curly fries are far from seasoned. I ordered the hamburger steak and baked potAto. The hamburger steak was the same frozen premade patty. It was so bad I didn’t even eat it. The baked potato was tiny! Our server said she was bringing out fresh baked bread but she never came back with it. We were very excited to try this place out.... but we both left disappointed. A steakhouse should at least be able to hand...

Server was new which is fine, but she didn't know how to run the ordering tablet. She didn't know what beverages they had. We ordered an appetizer which tasted good, but you don't get much for the money. I ordered a chicken ranch wrap and it was a breaded chicken strip in a hard tortilla with a smear of ranch... no cheese even though the menu said there was cheese on it. My boyfriend ordered chislic, medium rare. It came out medium well to well. I wouldn't waste my money here again. Especially since the staff wanted to talk about hair styles and getting drunk rather than check on...
